MEDIAWATCH: Isn’t Andrew Tate an inevitable culture war fallout + a defence of Six60s mediocrity

Greta smacking down a toxic symbol like Andrew Tate saved 2022, but his popularity amongst young men that has sparked so much pearl clutching by the middle class woke seems very inevitable doesn’t it?

Since 2016s #MeToo moment, a coalition of 5th wave feminists, non gender binary activists, Critical Race Theorists and Critical Gender Theorists have manufactured a faith based woke dogma, the holy trinity of which is:

1 – All white people are irredeemable cross burning racists.

2 – All men are rapists.

3 – Everyone defending free speech is a uniform wearing Nazi who hates the Trans Community.

Woven into this woke Identity Politics Holy Trinity, is the ‘BELIEVE ALL WOMEN’ mantra, because intersectionism decrees all men are part of a power dynamic which means they can never be victims and because women are morally superior to toxic masculinity males, they would NEVER lie about that abuse.

Never!

Never ever!

No embellishment! No half-truths! No mistruths! No lying!

Ever!

But because men are all part of the patriarchy, they will always lie.

This social media background noise that ALL men are monsters has swamped young men and exacerbated a toxic masculinity as a backlash response.

The true danger of identity politics is when young men start seeing themselves in the same language of victim identity.

Men didn’t fear a witch hunt post MeToo because Harvey Weinstein clearly proved there were monsters out there to hunt, what men feared was a witch trial, and this desire to convict on nothing more than the word of a woman (because women are morally superior to men and would never lie because you know, ‘patriarchy’), is the reason why the Amber Heard and Johnny Depp trial has become the backlash moment it exploded into last year.

Parents have started to fear their sons will be accused of sexual assault more than fearing their daughters will be sexually assaulted.

The rise of Tate amongst young men is a direct symptom of a loss of masculinity identity and young men responding to the new narrative that they are the evil.

Which is why the mediocrity of Six60 is so important right now.

Following on from a hilarious review of Six60’s Ponsonby BBQ background noise mediocrity, the author of the scathing review acknowledged their enormous popularity amongst young people, and I think there’s a reason for that.

If you have brought up all girls to believe all men are going to hurt them while telling all boys they are the problem then the only chance of getting any mass grouping of them together at social functions demands the kind of bland music track Six60 are so infamous for.

Our birth rate will plummet if we don’t have Six60!

The narrative changes that have allowed an uplifting of diversity voices have also enabled a narrative hateful of men. That there is a terrible backlash to that narrative using toxic role models like Tate shouldn’t surprise anyone.

Blame young men long enough as being the problem, and they will become that problem.

Shit all over Andrew Tate as much as any reasonable person should but understand why he is appealing to young men who have lost their sense of identity in the social media narrative that they are all evil.
