  1. Can we please give Labour a chance to bring in their policies – they definitely do not wish to do so now as the CoC will attack them or grab them for themselves? We all know that Luxon has no empathy, is simply an egotistical, narcissist and this will never change. He is incapable of acing like a leader and he and his cohorts have simply led us all off the edge of the cliff with their lack of acumen, planning and policies for ALL New Zealanders, not just the wealthy. He is our most RACIST politician ever and should be ashamed of his and his CoC’s behaviour. His cruetly towards the needy, who are suffering badly, due to the disparity in pay rates, will go down in history and never be forgotten. NZ badly needs a “livable wage”, but it will never happen under this government with their card-board cut PM.

  2. What would you expect from an idiot that has to put on a freak show and breakfast .The whole show was a sop and a Trumpist type of kiss my arse show for the easily led that are happy to clap every time he lies .I see another business has been sold off because the local managers are like luxon and cant manage a piss up in a brewery .

    1. Maybe they want it that way thinking that people under the influence of drugs will either not vote or be silly enough to vote for them?

  3. ” Luxon is a no where near man going no where fast ”

That’s depressing but in reality not a surprise.

Bomber the coming general election is almost a pointless exercise with respect to any alternative to the neo liberal approach and those with the money to ensure the status quo remains unchanged including the New Zealand Labour party that is more concerned with addressing business audiences and ensuring they receive their donations in case the Nasties fall out of favour.

Sure a vote for LINO means a slightly worse outcome than the bastards we have in now and I see your argument about a slightly less offensive incremental LINO alternative.

Bomber your mate Hipkins and his colleagues they are all compromised because they are in terms of their employment entitlements they receive more than many of the people they claim to represent including their wealth donors , how can you as a representative of working people advocate polices that will undermine your own wealth and entitlements and that of your wealthy donors that will advance working people and their whanau and families when your agenda is not with them or their interests . And like the current government are entitled and are guaranteed massive donations that once are banked means they are OWNED by their corporate backers despite Hipkins and his vomit inducing weak promises that are coming directly from his corporate backers and his own reliance on being funded by corporate donors as previously covered on this blog .

    This from Professor Robert McCulloch

” Of this widespread cronyism (or “corrupt inner circle”), MacCulloch observes: “Every high-status job in the country is just a job for mates”, and appointments are “so corrupt it’s beyond belief – now it’s just a group of people going from one big job to the next even when they’re not qualified and don’t deserve the job.” He argues that the last Labour Government entrenched a culture of ideological appointments, and the National-led Government is continuing the same pattern — just swapping in their own preferred cronies.

” Probably the blog post that got MacCulloch into the most trouble was his recent argument that Finance Minister Nicola Willis forced out Reserve Bank Governor Orr on behalf of the big banks – see: Incriminating evidence now points to Finance Minister Willis forcing out Governor Orr to take over the Reserve Bank of NZ on behalf of the Big Banks. In this, he alleged that Willis, acting on the advice of lobbyists and corporate lawyers, pushed for looser capital requirements at the behest of big banks and circumvented the Bank’s statutory independence.

His account catalogued a series of interactions: meetings between Willis and lawyers with lucrative public contracts, secret consultations with the New Zealand Initiative (where she previously sat on the board), and the elevation of insiders to oversight roles in the banking sector. He also noted the sudden shift in the Reserve Bank’s policy after Orr’s resignation as further evidence of political pressure. His most damning allegation is that these moves were orchestrated to serve the interests of monopolies (especially the big banks) and that Willis is now acting on behalf of those oligopolies rather than the public.

MacCulloch alleges that Willis is “doing the bidding of the big banks” and questions her motivations, suggesting a link to her former boss, John Key, who chaired ANZ Bank, a job she “also covets when she retires from politics.” He highlights that while Willis orders the RBNZ to potentially cut capital requirements, Australian regulators are ordering ANZ to increase theirs.

This has been a recurring theme in MacCulloch’s recent work – about the influence of corporate interests on the National-led Coalition Government as a whole. He claims Willis takes advice from lobbyists and “people you just wouldn’t believe”, including lawyers with questionable histories.

Bomber the niceties that you extend LINO people and the Nasty Natz on the Bradbury group in interviews are all nice and bro cuddly but you know damn well that none of them you give time to and put questions to
are in any way sympathetic to many of our people that need strength , vision , hope and real representatives in the peoples house our parliament …OURS not corporate wealthy interests that have dominated and influenced our country for far to long.

When you next talk to Hipkins ( not his bro friendly nick name ) remember you are joking with the real enemy you write on here you despise.

  4. Fran O’ Sullivan initially floated the idea that ‘Luxon could be the next John Key’…like that was a good thing to aspire to when clearly Key was just another bland corporate abuser of power.

What a low bar O’Sullivan was setting…she should just go away somewhere out of the media, but before that, apologise to the majority of New Zealanders who are now worse off under his useless, naive, inexperienced, ignorant, arrogant, charmless, underwhelming performance.

What a mess! Trying to cherry pick someone from the corporate sector, who, at the end of the day, are all just pissing in each others pockets, to actually run a country , is a ridiculous concept which should ring alarm bells if that is what O’Sullivan’s crowd believe is a good idea.

Luxon is no leader …..Being ceo of a government majority owned monopoly and selling men’s moisturiser , baby wipes and plastic containers is no preparation for the broad range of complex situations that come with being the leader of a country…not a company.

Luxon’s weak, desperate, delusional, diatribes over the weekend demonstrate that he has learnt nothing …. his vacuity will end up costing the average worker yet even more money and no doubt lives.

Gas lighting people is a desperate tactic… the final flailings of a failed leader and government…the gas lighting will reach fever pitch come election time….

N.Z.’s IQ is about to be tested.

  5. State of the nation…lol.

The state of his nation is the threat of anything or anyone threatening his privileged , corporate market returns paid directly to the New Zealand donors and established monied communities.

He is only talking to them and his colleagues National party constituencies who vote to ensure their entitlement and his wealthy donors who pay to write legislation and pass it in our sovereign parliament.

This from Hipkins regarding Luxon’s bullshit speech aimed at his donors and privileged supporters.
” Hipkins said Luxon’s adddress had shown he had no vision and no plan for New Zealand’s future.
“We need a vision. We need a plan for the future and it’s clear only Labour can deliver that.”
You can’t have vision to inspire and be serious about solving the real problems and structural crisis we are facing without confronting his own adherence to FAILED neoliberal free market corporate policies.
He and his party are a fraud pretending to give a shit about the people he says Luxon is failing.
Hipkins and his colleagues are no better than the elitist , entitled wealthy government he is apparently against.
Hipkins and his colleagues FEED from the same tax payer trough.
” “Luxon should focus on delivering on the political promises that he made,” Hipkins said, which he said included fixing the housing crisis and making healthcare more accessible.
“Things are getting harder for Kiwis not better.”……………
Clearly evident in the Ardern -Hipkins government and they DID NOTHING to address the inequalities their adherence to neo liberal polices created.
He criticised Luxon for not mentioning housing or healthcare in his speech, and focusing on slogans instead of substance.
Exactly what we are getting from the New Zealand workers party LINO who front up to giving speeches to soothe their business audiences and reassure them that despite being ” Labour ” they can be counted on to continue the status quo with donations and support from the very people their donors exploit.
This from a Kiwi who is sickened with the hypocrisy of the New Zealand LINO party.
” “I have a rather critical turn of mind and don’t rate any of them very highly. I loathe Chris Hipkins nearly as much as Luxon,” writes one respondent ”
Real Kiwis and their families are being sold out by the only recognized opposition to what we have now in parliament and conveniently portrayed by their supporters of retaining the free market and the entitlements of LINO MP’s and their enablers.
” One person wrote that “Labour are wasting every opportunity the Nats hand to them” and “they need to pull finger” while another suggested Kieran McAnulty should be the leader ”
It makes no difference who the leader is as long as they subscribe to free market economics policies as a cure and the only way forward for the people who they claim to represent.
HIPKINS ,EDMONDS and the LINO caucus are imposters and are selling New Zealanders out while they collect their salaries, benefits and super entitlements.
    https://www.stuff.co.nz/…/mood-workforce-how-workers…
” “Labour still need to shake their neoliberal hangover to be really credible,” one says. “I’m unconvinced that Hipkins can either grasp the need to change or make it”. “
Mood of the Workforce: ‘Virtually no praises for Luxon’s performance’

Move over boardroom executives, it’s time to hear what the blue collar workers think of the government, its leaders, and opposition MPs.

  7. A loser standing up and saying nothing .
A bigger loser doing a fake interview ,
A crowd of even bigger losers who actually paid to listen to this shit .
NZ is fucked that is the true state of the nation .
Loser voters have them selves to blame .

    1. A simple mind speaks in simple terms, to a simple audience, sums Luxon up to a tee.
Probably why Trevor, Bob the first and Jonzie likes him.

      1. Yes a clever mind is able to break down complex issues in the manner of our Prime Minister Luxon. The simple mind is able to make even simple issues complex in the manner of Left Wing politicians.

    1. That’s why we’re all here, B.’
It sure beats trying to get any sense out of the Hopeless Herald and even Silly Stuff.
Both, too scared to tackle anything ‘tricky’.

If we want to know things, we have to go looking because msm isn’t going to dish it up
      .
Have you tried BHN? They are really funny when they analyze interviews. As you may know our govt. ministers are a bit shy of interviewers who might not be nice to them.
The funniest I’ve seen recently was poor old Brooke on TVNZ. She was tripping over road cones left, right and centre and basically all she had to offer was that she wasn’t there to discuss anything.
