Luxon is lying about his Government’s inaction over your fuel price pain

As fuel prices surge and economic pressure tightens on households, Christopher Luxon’s Government is facing growing scrutiny over whether its inaction is strategy — or political survival.
Luxon is lying about his Government’s inaction over your fuel price pain.
Luxon’s economic narrative is now colliding with reality
Luxon has built his entire National Party election narrative on selling Labour’s response to Covid as a wanky left-wing waste of money that we are paying for now.
That is why he has sat on his hands as the illegal war in Iran erupts.
That is why any plan to address your pain is still weeks away, because he is just hoping it will all get better.
Borrowing more while blaming Labour
National doesn’t want to help us through this crisis so are making up lies as to why they can’t help us.
The contradiction at the heart of National’s argument
If Labour were feckless and spent too much during Covid then why is this National Government borrowing 50% more than Jacinda and Grant did?

How can National borrow more for tax cuts we can’t afford, landlord tax loopholes that entrench wealth, $300 million for Tobacco subsidies, $200 million for Gas and Oil subsidies and $6 million for wanky Michelin Star reviews and still pretend to be anything other than economic vandals?
If it’s true Labour destroyed the economy by borrowing, how come this Government is borrowing more?
Luxon is lying about his Government’s inaction over your fuel price pain and that has led to political paralysis so as to not undermine the entire rationale for that inaction.
At some point, voters will stop listening to the rhetoric and start looking at the numbers. And when they do, the gap between what Luxon says and what his Government is actually doing may prove far more politically damaging than the fuel prices themselves.

Luxon has told so many lies, what’s another one? We can’t believe anything that comes out of his lying, uncontrolled gob! Throughout all this he keeps telling us he’s a Christian – spare us. How he can live with this is beyond my comprehension. He has to be the most vain, arrogant, thick-skinned and devious MP we have ever had and our very worst PM. He continually rabbits on about Labour and Covid when it has been proven they did a great job!!! This abysmal National party has no succession plan as they simply don’t have anyone with the acumen or nouse to take over. They are now getting back what they deserve! Enjoy!
