  1. He was a rather queer fish Mr Leitch by some left standards, but he always maintained and practiced his freedom of speech, assembly and association as engaged citizens do. Social Credit seem to have minimal idea that we live in a class society really, they think a different Excel spreadsheet can fix things. But hey, good on them in a certain way. TOP has probably picked up their legacy.

  2. Chris was too honest to be a politician in this country. Social Credit bowled over the labour Party in many seats in the nth IS.
    It was SC who brought the Anti-nuclear movement into the political discussion. (Check out Hansard for gary Knapps bill). Lange was dragged kicking and screaming into joining the movement and of course had to take it over as if it was his idea.
    Sc with Chris was the original environment party without the extremists.
    Chris came within 1500 votes of taking Muldoons old seat. National and Labour never worked so closely on any matter than keeping SC out of “their” Parliament. I hope someone publishes his achievements, they were many and entirely honourable.
