  1. As a representative of a government which theoretically represents all New Zealanders, Foon should not be seen as politically partisan, which he is when he chooses to donate to one particular party.

  2. Seymour has got issues with a lot of things, you need to analyse closely where he is getting his funding.

  3. Strange that Seymour has rounded on two of the sweetest characters in NZ when there are so many more goblins to choose from…

  4. This is a non issue, however as someone from a mixed race family, I’m sick of hearing about Foon, he is incredibly condescending and selective in his outrage and the job of race relations commissioner should be about promoting a harmonious society and investigating and condemning and investigating all forms of racism, but says nothing whenever left wing activists and politicians in tv and social media en masse use racist insults to belittle peoples opinions rather than debating them I’d expect the race commissioner to actually condemn racism by people with platforms.

I’m ok with Seymour removing the position.

    1. Agree about Foon. I feel that I am being racist, but I get him mixed up with that Mayor or dignitary from Dunedin I think who got a trip to China which was very hospitable and showed him around and sold him a thing or two. How can we keep up with the overlapping factors that enter out election year arena and come out pure in whatever colour or type we choose, or has been chosen for us at birth??
