  1. I agree with the argument that there is no chance he’d be treated fairly if he’s extradited to the US but you do get the sense that he created this mess for himself, and that he was all smiles in the so-called good times, and now he’s a whiny entitled man.

    There are no guarantees in life. If you make the decision to tread on the toes of powerful American men, and they choose to prosecute, you don’t have the right to turn around and demand that your home country comes to your defence.

    Two wrongs don’t make a right. That’s a very important lesson for Assange, and for those like him, to learn. Although it may seem harsh, I feel that, from a legal perspective, it will be the best course of action if Julian Assange were to be extradited to the USA and for the US Justice system to take over from then on.

    However, because of this man’s fragile state of mind and physical state, there is a legal obligation on the part of the UK to ensure he is safely handed over and also not entirely in the hands of Americans although he will be in the US, that is, to my mind, he is to be extradited (to the USA) but to have (impartial) UK carers.
