Like you said people don’t care about Temple politics. She lost not because of that but because Biden didn’t step down after a year and there was no proper contest for who would run. Her short gifted run was counter to the usual democratic process. She lost because of the genocide she did not take a stand against. She lost because of the in your face privileges of the dems and the stupid waste of money on celebrities at conventions. Any meaningful policies just looked like sugar coating the same old pill of haves and have nots. She should have listened to Bernie and gone all the way in that direction. People felt that there would be no change to the establishment , with Trump they knew he would blow up the establishment. Wow, they got that. They voted for it.
It would be a dream scenario for those on the right to have Kamela as the Democrat nomination, but the Democrats are not stupid. Perhaps this time they’ll have a democratic (the irony of the term) selection process, rather than be appointed by ‘who the hell thought she was a good idea’.
Whoever they choose, they’ll have to be prepared to actually talk to Joe Rogan for a few hours, something the democrats were too terrified of with Kamela.

Kamala Harris lost because she was widely viewed as a continuation of Status Quo Joe. She lost because she made no serious effort to show distinctly different policies to those of S.Q. Joe.
Harris, like Hilary before her, is unfortunately a great example of a has been who was resoundingly rejected by voters and does not seem to have got the memo.
It is terrible to have to say this, and it says much about how awful the current edition of the Democrats really is, but if Harris stands again then the Democrats deserve the hiding that is coming.
The best thing Kamala can do is go back to the public sector, or retire from politics altogether.
