Jordan Williams vs Colin Craig Defamation Case Week 1
I can’t say too much about this case as I am a witness in it, but what can be said is all in the public now after week one, and what a week it’s been.
The first two days we had all these terrible things said about Colin Craig, and terrible allegations of sexual harassment and inappropriate sexts. We heard that Mr Williams was a champion of the under dog and caring shoulder to cry on, whose very soul was troubled that a Christian leader of a Christian Party should be such a hypocrite.
Cough
Cough.
So pretty damaging stuff.
But then came the cross examination, which was brutal because it revealed…
- Williams hadn’t actually seen any text
- Williams decided to tell other members about something he hadn’t actually seen while telling them that he had seen it.
- Williams decided to go behind Rachel’s back and tell the rest of the Conservative Party board, not because he was trying to destabilise the Conservative Party, but because he was ethically shocked by Colin Craig.
- Williams went behind Rachel’s back despite promising her that he would not do that.
- Williams gave Cameron Slater a copy of the love poem not because he was trying to destabilise the Conservative Party, but because he was concerned for Rachel – despite the publication being incredibly damaging to Rachel.
- Oh and the sext didn’t even actually exist.
It was fascinating watching the media response and the social media response at the same time. The mainstream media ran huge headlines for the supposed sexts and juicy details, yet there were no similar headlines when it turned out that Williams hadn’t actually even seen this sext message.
It was also weird watching the social media discussion almost as if Jordan Williams had never featured much in Nicky Hager’s Dirty Politics. Instead of people rolling their eyes, they were actively debating his allegations.
That was week 1, and we have 4 more weeks to go. Cameron Slater will be watching this case with huge interest as he faces Colin Craig early next year in Colin’s defamation case against him. If Williams loses this case, it will be very difficult for Slater to mount much of a defence.

We hope you both get the case thrown out as a phoney fabricated trumped up charge against Colin Craig that it is.
Williams should be jailed for perjury and contempt of court. If there were ever an example of a frivolous prosecution, this is it. If he ever does decide to throw rocks at women, I’d say he’s got plenty between his ears. Mind you, with his keyboard strengthened biceps, I don’t imagine he’d be able to throw them further than his own foot.
If you honestly think this is an orchestrated hit-job against Craig then you’re taking the whole the enemy of my enemy is my friend thing way too far.
