  1. Strange that no-body put their name to this article, in an attempt to kill NZ First & Labour on the rail debate.

    It is thus highly suspect of this as being a “shadow black Opps attempt to confuse the electorate and advantage National for winning the next election, as we will all suffer for decades if successful.!!!!!

    NZ First & Labour step up and make this an election issue now please!!!!!!!

    RECOMMEND AS NZ FIRST ARE IN THEIR RAIL POLICY CALLED RONI THAT ALL UN-FINISHED RAIL LINES BE RECONNECTED TO THE WHOLE RAIL NETWORK AS PLANNED BY GOVERNOR VOGEL IN 1880 SO THEY CAN FUNCTION CORRECTLY.

    I believe this ARTICLE SLAMMING LABOUR AND NZ FIRST was engineered by Steven Joyce and his staff inside the mega propaganda agency MBIE who in 2014 made up what then GDC Councillor described as a “whitewash Study” showing the Gisborne Napier rail was not viable. Since then has been debunked as they used only cherry picked references not solid evidence based MoT rail study documents we submitted to MBIE and they failed to use them in their flawed study.

    Nice try Mr SS Joyce, but this deflection attempt from you to persuade us all from using rail (we desperately need) for trucks wont work!

    As now you are very aware the roads are now crumbling under the weight of all the massive size & number of trucks YOU EXCLUSIVELY are shoving on our roads, making them unsafe dangerous places to be.

  2. Maori party want to partly privatise rail – no doubt with back door help from Nact.

    The Gisbourne line needs Govt taxpayers cash now. not a compromise of ownership which will lead to debt and sell off. Kiwirail can provide jobs and did until the Govt pulled the plug.

    Most of this article is utter crap.
