Voters do not appreciate how much of a wide eyed free market NZ Initiative Acolyte that Nicola Willis is. She was the director of the Free Market, Atlas Network adjacent New Zealand Initiative!
She believes as a matter of faith that if you cut back the state, the free market will step in and do the job cheaper.
There is no economic plan here because as far as the Minister of Finance is concerned, the savage cuts to public services IS the economic plan.
Nicky No-Boats, the ideologically driven wicked witch from the NZ Initiative, who is amputating the State with the sort of gleeful intellectual vandalism that David Seymour orgasms to, has far more dangerous goals than Leadership of the National Party.
She has less charm than Luxon and has all the personal warmth of a corpse, she won’t be leader, but the free market neoliberal interests are demanding she remains as Finance Minister to ensure their interests are expanded.

You’re far too kind here. Nicola knows that cutting back the state allows private interests to make massive profits at the expense of the people. And she is one of those private interests that are effectively insider trading to increase their personal wealth.
They know they can make far more wealth within the Atlas Network and politics than they will ever make in the private sector.
More “distractions”, however Willis et al are hell bent on doing exactly what Atlas and cronies want – selling us all to the highest bidder, and leaving us to wallow in their leftover orchestrated bedlam. Seriously, they all need to go NOW. By Nov 2026, it will be too late! What can decent folk do to permanently get rid of this riff raff? Something has to happen soon – it won’t get any better until they have all departed, in some way or another!
Well Frank the Seppo, if you look at the US health system, it is far more costly to run than every comparable public health system in the world, and far more effective.
A good public service is always far more cost efficient and performs better than the free market due to the cost of the capital and the lack of need for profits.
When you outsource 10 year health contracts for the likes of money for jam ops like hips etc to the private sector, the public sector becomes more inefficient because overheads remain the same but revenue decreases.
Poor performance of public services is by design not by nature, just so the greedy feral cunts can benefit financially from the increased cost to society.
If more money is not the answer to solving a lot of problems and making life , and many other things, a lot easier, then why do rich people want even more and more money….
If money is not a solution to problem solving then why did the government just gift an 80% rise to the already rich pricks.

Sure Frank. What was the economy doing when we had more people in the public sector? It was doing a whole lot better. Of course now right wingers have a different take on inflation when they cut everything down but the inflation is going back up.
Of course the public sector is not the answer to everything just like the “free” market sure as hell is not either. How many examples do you need of privatisation making things worse for the public to stop believing the bullshit.
