  1. Biden funnelled an endless supply of weapons to Israel, this all started under him even tho it was clear from the start, after the initial retaliation against the Hamas attack, they were engaging in genocide leading to a landgrab.

    1. started in 1967 and has just been a land grab by the colonists ever since a repeat of what happened here in the 1870s.Give them an acre and they will take the whole country .
The world has been lied to ever since .

“All hell to be paid” means killing civilians White House confirms.

White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt, said the civilian Palestinian First Responders were killed because Hamas didn’t obey Trump’s threat to release the hostages, or all hell would be paid.

      1. “She should be indicted.”

        In USA?
        Fat chance.
USA is where charges as serious as treasonous insurrection and stealing state secrets simply evaporate in order that nobody will suffer from a mean tweet.

        In the World Court?
        Fat chance.
        USA ignores its existence.

        1. Of course there’s no chance of any actual prosecution. But aiding and abetting a war crime is complicity in a war crime, and the ICC could still indict and issue an arrest warrant. Countries outside the USA and Israel could then apply sanctions to all individuals with outstanding arrest warrants, if they were brave enough. It’s only moral opprobrium rather than the gaol time she deserves, but it keeps memory alive, which matters.

  3. The magnitude of Israel’s genocidal extermination of Palestinians in Gaza, being live streamed, in real time, in full view of the whole world, means that Israel’s international legal impunity, to do whatever it likes to the indigenous Palestinian population must be brought to an end.

Owen Jones is joined by Dr. Alonso Gurmendi who explains why the ICC arrest warrants could be a game changer, and not just for Israel and Palestine, but for the entire world.

“…..Dr. Alonso Gurmendi (London School of Economics) who explains why the arrest warrants could be a game changer not just for Israel and Palestine, but reflect dramatic changes to the entire global order.”

No more impunity for Israel, means New Zealand will also need to get our house in order, in readiness to respond to further arrest warrants issued by the ICC.

[For clarity and to aid comprehension, I have lightly edited the following AI generated transcript of Owen Jones interview with Dr. Alonso Gurmendi.]

    starting @10:06 minutes

… our security and police and border protection services will be handed an ICC watch list of suspected war criminals to be apprehended if they try to enter this country. [the UK]

New Zealand will also need to be prepared to apprehend any suspected war criminals named on an ICC watch list, if they try to enter this country.

    Here is my suggested question for our opposition MPs, Labour, Greens, TPM, to put to our government during Question Time;

    Question Time in the House

    Question for Answer:

Q: Can the Minister confirm, that in the unlikely event that the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israel Minister of Defence Yoav Galant enter this country, that they will be arrested by the proper authorities and handed over to the ICC to stand trial in the Hague as required by our international obligations and legal commitments?

    Yes or No?

    A: Yes. [likely answer]

    Supplementary Question for Answer:

Q: Can the Minister confirm, that any and every visitor to this country on an ICC watch list, will be detained by the New Zealand authorities at the border and handed over to the ICC to stand trial in the Hague?

    Yes or No?

A: (…….) ? [Who knows what Luxon or Peters’ answer will be]

  4. The dead people in this incident worked for the Red Crescent Humanitarian organisation.
How does killing them harm Hamas?
(Now wait for some wanker to say I am anti-semitic and defending Hamas).

  5. The Gazans are the children of Israel. The Israelis and Palestinians are one people who will always be together. Right now they are the Cane and Able of modern geo-politics – whoever survives this struggle will be forever cursed in God’s eyes because of the brutal inhumanity of ‘a brother killing his brothers children’, of ‘brother killing sister and mother’ of ‘brother killing brother’. These are deep spiritual transgressions which undermine the faith and meaning of a society and it’s people. Israel must heal itself – it’s people must learn to see through their fear and profound historic trauma. And they must embrace the role of being the stronger and wiser older brother and be resolute and consistent in reaching for lasting peace with themselves and all the children of Israel.
The future for Israelis and Palestinians is a single secular state that upholds equal protection for all of it’s citizens – dare I say it like the US which is the safest country for Jewish and Palestinian people in the world.

  6. The IDF release the findings of their investigation into the IDF killings of 14 Palestinian First Responders.

Army says 6 medics identified posthumously as Hamas men

By Emanuel Fabian 5 April 2025, 11:46 pm

….the military, which accuses Hamas of embedding itself in civilian infrastructure, had initially said the vehicles were without headlights or emergency lights,

…..Following the emergence of the video Saturday, the military said that Southern Command chief Maj. Gen. Yaniv Asor would be re-investigating the incident.

    https://www.timesofisrael.com/idf-shares-initial-details-from-gaza-ambulance-probe-says-troops-told-un-of-burial-site/

By their own admission, the IDF confess to shooting up the ambulances, and then checking to see if any of those they killed, were Hamas members.

The IDF investigation claimed the responders bodies were buried several metres deep to keep them from wild dogs. This show of concern for the deceased doesn’t gel with the crushed and mangled state of the bodies caused by the bulldozer used to bury them. Wild dogs doesn’t account for the state of the ambulances also being found crushed and buried by the IDF D9 bulldozer. The IDF investigation claimed the ambulances were buried to keep the roads clear.

…..The army said that burying bodies in this way was an approved and regular practice during fighting in Gaza, to prevent wild dogs and other animals from eating the corpses. Times of Israel

…..The UN has said that the mangled ambulances were found buried alongside the bodies. According to the IDF probe, an armored D9 bulldozer pushed the ambulances off the road to open it up, crushing the vehicles in the process. Times of Israel

  8. To paraphrase JFK The fruits of [Israel’s] victory will be like ashes in our mouths

The Arab Spring will look like a mere dress rehearsal, for what’s coming.

Ethnically cleansing the survivors of the genocide in Gaza forcing them into Egypt and Jordan, will destabilise the whole region.
Pro-US, pro-Israel regimes across the Middle East, and wider Levant, will be shaken and toppled and reshaped, to become unrecognisable, compared to what they are today.

    https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/tens-of-thousands-attend-anti-israel-pro-palestinian-protest-in-istanbul/

In Turkey the millions of people protesting against the Erdogan regime are uniting with the pro-Palestine movement.
Turkey is getting closer to Syria.
Israel is terrified of the revolutionary regime in Syria, a fear so great that Israel has launched pre-emptive unprovoked attacks, daring the Syrian government weakened by war and revolution to strike back, as an excuse to continue their one sided genocidal war into a defenceless Syria, confident that Turkey and the pro-US Arab regimes will do nothing to stop them.

    But that situation will change.

The Struggle Continues: A Reflection from Turkey Against Rising Authoritarianism
    Gürkan Özturan / Apr 5, 2025

    https://www.techpolicy.press/the-struggle-continues-a-reflection-from-turkey-against-rising-authoritarianism/

    A call to global solidarity

As the Turkish government’s repression intensifies, it is clear that the protests will continue. The government may resort to further violence and silencing tactics, but the resolve of the people will only grow stronger. This struggle is not just about a single political leader or a set of legal decisions — it is about the future of Turkey itself.

……As authoritarian leaders gain ground in many parts of the world, it is more important than ever to stand in solidarity with the Turkish people. The Gezi Park protests taught Turkey that the struggle for freedom is never over, and today’s protests echo that same spirit of defiance. During the Gezi Park protests, the most chanted slogan was, “This is yet the beginning, struggle carries on!” Those words remain as relevant today as they were then. The struggle in Turkey is not just a national issue — it is a global one. Across the world, authoritarianism is on the rise, threatening the freedoms and rights we hold dear. Now, more than ever, we must unite in solidarity to push back against this tide and build a future rooted in democracy and justice.

  9. “The next generation of global children are watching kids like them being bombed with American bombs and killed by Israeli soldiers.” Martyn Bradbury

Don’t forget us Martyn. We currently have an Orion and the Te Kaha in the Arabian Gulf, right now playing a support role to the US Navy.

We too have the blood of these kids on our hands. Every one of us.

    From Times of Israel:

US shipment of 2,000-lb bombs held up by Biden administration arrives in Israel
1,800 of the heavy bombs unloaded at Ashdod Port, taken by trucks to Israeli airbases, weeks after Trump lifted hold on delivery
By Emanuel Fabian 16 February 2025, 9:51 am

    https://www.timesofisrael.com/us-shipment-of-heavy-bombs-held-up-by-biden-administration-arrives-in-israel/

….A ship carrying the MK-84 2,000-lb munitions docked at Ashdod Port and was unloaded onto dozens of trucks and taken to Israeli airbases, the ministry said.
Defense Minister Israel Katz hailed the arrival of the bombs, saying in a statement: “The munitions shipment that arrived in Israel tonight, released by the Trump administration, represents a significant asset for the Air Force and the IDF and serves as further evidence of the strong alliance between Israel and the United States.”
    [and New Zealand]

What is most sinister about our deployment of a New Zealand Frigate and an Orion aircraft to the Arabian Gulf, is that when you look at the timeline, it was done on the 12th of February right in the middle of the ceasefire long before the ceasefire was ended, at a time when the Yemenis were obeying the ceasefire, and had lifted their blockade of all shipping through the Red Sea, including to Israel. In hindsight it is obvious that the NZDF were in on Israel’s plan to break the ceasefire.

The ceasefire took effect on the 19th of January 2025, and was ended by Israel on the 18th of March 2025, the Te Kaha and the Orion were deployed on the 12th of February.

On 18 March 2025, Israel launched surprise airstrikes on Gaza, breaking the ceasefire with Hamas
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2025_Gaza_war_ceasefire#

This dirty act of treachery was carried out with the full pre-knowledge of the NZDF

All the bullshit about deploying to the Gulf to protect our trading routes is just that bullshit. We are there to assist the Israeli war effort, prevent food and medical aid being smuggled into Gaza and free up US forces to attack the Houthis.

    From the Times of Israel:

Yemen’s Houthis threaten to resume attacks on Israel if no aid to Gaza in four days
    TOI staff
    7 March 2025

……The Houthis, who control much of the Arabian Peninsula’s poorest country, fired scores of drones and missiles at Israeli-linked and other shipping in the Red Sea during the Gaza war, until calling a halt when a ceasefire started in January.
