  1. David Parker; Opposed the Trans Tasman Trade agreement for its secret clauses when John Key’s government wanted to pass it.
    David Parker consented pretty much the same agreement( secrets and all) when in government.
    At a session of the New Zealand Fabians he soundly criticised the farming industry for its ongoing polluting of water.
    When I asked what action the government would take to compel land users to change their use of water and land he said he did not believe in direct state intervention( in other words, nothing). Eugenie Sage of the Greens was also there and appeared to agree with him.
    Now he says taxation in New Zealand is unfair but he wants to do fuck all about it.
    I still think Labour and the Greens is the lesser of evils but I really do despair of anything ever ending the neoliberal nightmare.
