Gaza Strip

Israel’s ceasefire violations in Gaza continue — but silence prevails

over growing numbers of dead and injured

Victims 23-24 February 2025:

Israeli Occupation forces’ continued positioning on the northern and eastern outskirts of the Gaza Strip opened fire on and killed two returning Palestinians and wounded six others. Civil Defence crews retrieved the bodies of a further five people from under bomb-damaged buildings and a third person died from wounds, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 48,346. The total wounded is now at least 111,759. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 95 and, that of those injured, is more than 220.

West Bank

Palestinian Monitoring Group — Since midnight on 07 October 2023, Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure around the whole of the West Bank, preventing people (even including permit-holders) from entering both Jerusalem City as well as Israel, other than for especially-negotiated exceptions. Permanent military checkpoints impose severe travel restrictions within the Occupied West Bank.

Israeli Army attack – home set on fire and more evictions: Jenin – Israeli Occupation forces, firing live ammunition, continued to storm the city as well as the refugee camp, setting fire to a family home and isolating yet more homes in the refugee camp as well as, forcibly, evicting residents.
