Merciless blitz on starving Gaza — growing numbers

61 more killed and 308 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, missile–launches and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, have resulted in 61 dead and 308 wounded. Another 298deaths were recently added to the overall tally with data was verified and confirmed by the judicial committee overseeing the records of missing persons and fatalities. The total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, has risen to at least 62,622 and the total wounded is at least 157,673. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 91 and, that of those injured, is more than 229. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.
World reaction to Israel’s settlement plan in occupied West Bank
Plans to develop the illegal E1 settlement, which would jeopardise a future Palestinian state, have been widely condemned.
