Gaza‘s growing death, injury and sickness

In Gaza during the past 24 hours (as above) 3 more Palestinians have been killed by Israeli shelling and gunfire and 1 more wounded.

The total numbers of killed and wounded in Gaza by Israel since 7 October 2023 are: killed 72,120 and wounded 171,802.

Since the start of the Gaza ‘ceasefire’ the Israeli Occupation has killed 642 Palestinians and injured 1,683.

The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since 7 October 2023 is at least 82 and, that of those injured, is more than 195.

The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since the ceasefire is at least 4 and, that of those injured, 11.

West Bank

Since 24:00 on 7 October 2023, Israeli Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure on the West Bank, preventing residents and other permit-holders from entering or leaving. The Israeli military also imposes severe, and highly variable, travel restrictions on all residents.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Jerusalem – 22:20, Israeli Occupation forces opened fire, from the Annexation Wall adjacent to Al-Ram, on a man, Ahmed Mahmoud Ahmed Aqra, trying to get to work in Jerusalem. The man was wounded and hospitalised.

Israeli Army attack: Ramallah – 20:40, Israeli forces, firing live ammunition, raided and patrolled the town of Silwad.

Israeli Army attack – 5 wounded: Jenin – the Israeli Army continued its incursions into the city as well as the refugee camp, opening fire on people in the City Centre, wounding and hospitalising five people, one of them, Khaldoun Ashraf, critically.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Hebron – 01:10, Israeli troops, firing live ammunition, raided and patrolled Tarqumiya, leaving one resident wounded.

Home invasions and occupation: Jenin – Israeli Occupation forces continued their incursion into the village of Faqua for the fourth consecutive day, occupying nine homes and converting them into military outposts after forcing the residents to evacuate.

Home invasion: Jenin – 22:10, Israeli forces raided the village of al-Shuhada and searched a house.

Home invasion: Qalqiliya – 11:30, the Israeli Army raided the village of Fonduk and invaded a home.

Home invasions and plunder: Qalqiliya – 23:50, raiding Israeli troops, taking prisoner four residents, searched several homes and plundered one of them of cash.

Home invasions and occupation: Tulkarem – the Israeli military continued their incursions into the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, occupying homes and apartment buildings, for use as military posts.

Israeli Army population–control: Jenin – evening, the Israeli Army took prisoner a man, Uday Ahmed Abu Bakr, when he reported, as ordered, for interrogation at Israeli Military Intelligence in the town of Ya’bad.

Israeli Army land–grab for settlement purposes: Jenin – Israeli forces issued an order for the seizure of an area of Jaba’ town land, near the entrance to the remains of the Tarsala Occupation settlement, for further settlement objectives.
