  1. Peters has the gumption to address the gender ID ideology, transgender ideology, and premature sexualisation of school children foisted upon kids by the current flaky government. Excellent.

    1. Make no mistake, this issue is keenly felt in households with primary to secondary age children and that is thousands of voters, the majority of whom are aghast at the gender indoctrination being formulated and pushed by activist groups like InsideOut.

      1. Woke bullshit of which this is, is entirely within NZF’s orbit of electioneering policy.
To his credit he is the only one fronting where everbody else has either been captured or is too scared to confront this toxic agenda.
He will reap the rewards as a consequence.

        1. What utter bollocks. Everybody else is not focusing on it because it’s not a concern for the vast majority who are concerned about actual problems. Winston Peters tries to mop up the fringe. ACT (and National to a degree) have been happy to race bait so I don’t think they would be “too scared” to campaign on transgender issues if they thought it was a real problem. They haven’t been “captured” either.

    2. Last election Winston Trump had the gumption to call out neoliberalism as a failed ideology.
The failed Nact Government during their 9 years let neoliberalism run rampant. It will happen again with the flaky Nact coalition.

    3. You’re vastly overestimating the impact these things have on people’s personal lives. But that’s what happens when one spends too much time on YouTube, Twitter or Facebook

  2. Just some troll Ardern is still here, driving the anti Freedom of Speech agenda which she she launched.

    1. In her defense @ Snow White, she was a student of POLS and Meerkating and she does need an earn to sustain her comfy lifestyle.
Let Her good times roll. I could sacrifice a bit of humility too IF I could be just like Her.
Shit!, I’d even pretend to like Carmel Sepuloni

    2. Your posting aren’t you Whitey, seems you have your own agenda and launching your hatred at Jacinda is freedom enough to make your comment hypocritical.

  3. fuck, you’re really really tuff eh? I wish I could be just like you.
If I could be half as tuff as you, I could start my own blog where I wouldn’t have to put up with @Martyn’s shite, and I could show everybody just how clever I is.
I could take away half of @ Martyn’s commenters and then where would he be!
    I done my research too.
I had it peer reviewed too on Quora and other social media, and hardly anyone disagreed with ME
@Gaslighting: we should really really get together and see if we could get somefing up and running.
Horseygal @fuckinngAda and a few others would probably donate to the cause. What ya reckon?

  4. I’m voting for the Green Party today.

Not my cup of tea, but certainly a great way to get a personal license to complain.

  5. Race based fishing restrictions imposed ad hoc by Environment Court with no public consultation for next 10years.

“Exceptions to the no-take rules include kina harvest, and activity involved with restoration, research and tikanga, such as customary fishing.”

    1. These are not race-based regulations. There are some carveouts for customary practices. As someone who has fished the Mimiwhangata area recreationally during summer for 50 years, I can say that as long as there are limits on the carveouts, transparency around the process and adequate policing, I’m fine with that. The reserve may inconvenience me in the short-term, but in the long run* it will improve the fishing in adjacent areas. I won’t be round for the long run, but others will be.

      * it will improve the fishing in the long run, provided climate change doesn’t damage the oceans so badly that there is ecosystem collapse. I would suggest we focus on that, rather than manufacture imaginary grievances in the here and now.

    1. Respectfully, that’s not really the choice. The left may be infuriating at times with its timidity, infighting and excessive focus on minority concerns, but it will cause much less aggregate harm to poor and vulnerable people, and the planet, than the the right.

    2. That depends upon how long the rat has been dead, and how it has been prepared for the sandwich.. You could be on a dead loser there, Jack

  6. A very fair and accurate summery from what I’m hearing out here.

  7. This election for almost all voters whether they realise it or not is nothing more than choosing between whether you want to be repeatedly punched in the face by the red guy or the blue guy. Only real variation is which ‘minority’ (i.e. TPM / the ‘top 1%’ / Chinese nationals / the alphabet people etc) are on the sidelines laughing at you while they enjoy the show . .
