Israel’s Embassy in New Zealand has hit back after our Government described the loss of life on the Gaza-Israel border as “one-sided”.
Palestinian officials say at least 60 people have been killed following violent clashes between Palestinian protesters and Israeli security forces.
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern called it a “devastating one-sided loss of life”, and said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) has voiced its concerns with the Israeli Ambassador on behalf of the Government.
But the Embassy took issue with Ms Ardern’s statement, saying Israel has the right to protect its borders.
…We should be doing far more than criticising Israel, we should be kicking their embassy out and revoking their work visa status. Israel uses NZ as a safe holiday destination for their soldiers to chill out from all that oppression. We shouldn’t allow them to do that.
If Israel doesn’t like our criticism, no one is forcing them to stay here, please – there’s the door.
It would be rather horrifying if our government expressed approval of Israel’s interactions with the Palestinians.
I would rather have hoped that Jacinda might have been much more forthright in her condemnation. Israel’s embassies’ unhappiness would be a badge of honour.

Yes we shouild since Israel was harbouring NZ’s worst “political terrorist” who ‘specialised in “dirty politics” – yes it was Cameron Slater no less so we see Israel as a enemy of our state as they were infact also allowing undermining our poolical process as US Democrats are charging Russia with this to, so should we then!!!!!!.
