  1. I too was surprised at the lack of a genuine apology to the Maori Party, and better clarification from Mike Hosking on his confusing and ambiguous comments.

Mike Hosking should have to have had repeated a genuine apology across a 7 day period at the same time slot so as to ensure that any mislead viewers have been given the opportunity to be informed of the correct situation, and also that Hoskings statements were misleading.

    1. What profession? I can think of one, but it’s not journalist, or political commentator.

  2. “How can he moderate the debates when he can’t moderate himself”? is the burning question. Hoskings is unfit to front a prime time tv show let alone a crucial election debate.

  3. TV One news and the debates need to be boycotted. I know I will be. It goes without needing to be said that all things Mike Hosking should be boycotted

    1. Yes I agree. I certainly won’t watch it and I certainly won’t read the Herald the next day when Fran O’Sullivan says that English won.

  4. So what Mike Hosking is actually saying is that the Maori Party are too stupid to understand his misunderstanding?

Hoskins is too stupid to realise and accept that he’s wrong.

It’s the Dunning – Kruger Effect shown in full public view.

  5. When I look at Hosking I wonder “Apart from Donald Trump, have I seen anyone with more delusions of grandeur than Hosking?’
    No, I don’t think so.

  6. Nail him for his words. What he said was,”..you can’t vote for the Maori Party…” That means Party (or List) vote. If it was electorate vote he should have said,”…you can’t vote for the Maori Party Candidate..”
He didn’t say the word ‘candidate’. That means he was talking about the party vote whether he himself knew it or not.
It appears he is too thoughtless to understand this himself.

  7. John Cambell would be up to it, right? As for Mike ‘Love Me’ Hosking, he’s long past his use-by date. Get him off air. Permanently.
