Now the enormity of the budget cuts that Nicola Willis is ideologically excited to be committing are now public (just as TDB warned you), the game is how she walks the budget tightrope to avoid a snap election.

While Kiwis are hearing about these budget cuts, they still have no clear idea exactly what services are actually getting gutted, so as we move towards the budget the enormity of service cuts will start becoming abundantly clear…
- Segar House shut down
- Still no ferries as first of old fleet retire
- Closure of North Shore Women’s Centre a huge loss
- Simeon Brown hid Dunedin Hospital downgrade
- Govt cuts will cost jobs, health, and homes
NZF will be watching to see if the cut backs are too steep and if the public notice, because if the public understand how terrible these cuts are, they will turn on National with intense anger and NZF will be pushed into a snap election.
REMEMBER – National are prioritising tax cuts we can’t afford and tax loops holes for the richest landlords WHILE deregulating industry for their Donor mates!
REMEMBER – Nicola Willis is from the NZ Initiative and they believe in terrible public service cut backs to enable the miracle of the free market to take over, she is as ideologically driven as Milton Friedman but with less charm.
It is up to us as Kiwis to fight back and stop this privatisation and corporate interest platform.

We are also seeing an increase in homicides and violent crime due to poor socio-economic conditions, and the increased availability of A class drugs, growing poverty and homelessness is also exacerbating desperation.
All of this I blame on the COC government who are locking thousands up but eventually they have to be released back into our communities and when released they are like damaged goods, too hard to fix better to toss. And to make matters worse our mentally ill are being neglected and they are committing heinous crimes. Our country is in one big fucken mess, no rail enabled ferries for four years, with Winstone the spin master trying to justify this and it’s not good enough.

Hopefully the ancient fart sac calls a snap election and wheezes off with 4.9%, putting an end to this god-awful government for good.
It would be the legacy Winnie always hoped for, one achievement at long last but saving the country from certain annihilation is worth a shot or two of the finest single malt.
The question is who to vote for. The only option I see right now is TPM. Hopefully they can flood the party with the new crop of taiohi (like Hana-Rawhiti Kareariki Maipi-Clarke) coming through who are passionate, politically aware (while not self serving corrupt and venal boomers) and venerate not just those before them but those future generations who are currently shafted by all the other political parties, including the greens.
We can at least find solace in knowing this will be Willis’s second to last budget. Next year will be her last and a massive lolly scramble as she fails in her attempt at reelection.

Mean while we are now down to two ferries and the new ones that would be here next year are rusting away in the ship builders yard .Just think how much money is being wasted and how many jobs and trades people have left due to her shutting down every project that was started by the last government .The ferries would be beginning sea trials by the end of the year ,Dunedin hospital would be well past the half way stage and another 20000 houses would have been built .Hell even light rail might be underway in Auckland .But no we are fast driving closer to the fiscal cliff with nothing to show for it except more un or under employed and growing poverty .
