Hold on – Key is going to illegally use public funds to pay off a defamation case? And that’s not a problem for everyone?
Turns out that it could be illegal to use the Leaders budget as a slush fund to pay out defamation cases, but that doesn’t seem to dent Key’s enthusiasm to do it.
One of the most prevailing unchallenged myths that many NZers still believe is that Key donates all his salary as a Prime Minister to charity. It’s bullshit, but most NZers still believe it – the idea that he’s not in politics for the money seems to forgive all his decisions.
Here he is once again using the State purse for his own ends and this after he was caught going to change the flag fundraisers…
…Key’s appeal is that he’s not like the other politicians which is true, in so much as no other Politician before him has abused power to the levels he and his Office have.
At some point other NZers have to wake from the 8 year sleep walk they’ve undertaken and see Key through different eyes. Key is in it for Key, and while he tickles middle NZs anti-intellectual fancy he doesn’t give two shits about anyone or anything.
It’s a problem for me. Let King John pay his way out of his mess using his own money.
He was caught out today, as the already wanted to reach into the taxpayer funded cookie jar. Thanks to the Greens, the MSM had to learn and accept, while the Leader’s fund may cover some legal expenses for our Esteemed Leader, it cannot be used to pay a settlement amount.
A back-down following poor advice, Key was caught out, and has been embarrassed yet again.
And his loyal buddy Paul Henry tried to rubbish Metiria Turei this morning, saying on his show she is not a lawyer (and hence has no clue about the law).
As far as I can remember, Metiria studied law, Mr Henry.

Seems to have forgotten that he was proud to tell the nation that he “donates” his salary to charity. What a moron!!!
