  1. Yes agree with you Martyn but hopefully we will have a change of government 2017. The trouble with the gnats is they believe their own spin and so do some NZers.

    1. 100% Micelle and the Government controls the media through controlling what they send us in programming so we need a “fifth Estate ” benefactor to step forward to help fund our own Bradbury “free public media TV channel” now in time for the 2017 election.

      1. Hehehehe…. by that I hope you don’t mean fund our own ”Bradbury – free public media TV channel” now in time for the 2017 election.

        Sorry CLEANGREEN , couldn’t resist – the English language is so full of nuances… and sorry to you too also Martyn ,… I just saw the funny side of it… I guess this will go down like a lead balloon…

        🙂

  2. Sure, they’re all into economic Darwinism..except when it was them in need of subsidised housing, benefits and education.

  3. Martyn;

    I have had a comment on eugenics taken down before,elsewhere, but you have just implied it here. Good on you.

    “It’s economic darwinism.” = eugenics in my mind.

    The photo above is brilliant. Just look at the arrogance,especially on the face of
    that s…. Bennent.

    And to think of how and where she came from. Her parents should be ashamed.

    Cheers.

      I had the same thought when reading the phrase economic darwinism. Apparently the eugenics movement was popular in NZ & around the world in the early 1900s. Maybe the outdated ideology of the likes of Judith Collins and Paula Bennett is a modern day legacy of this.

      There is a very interesting podcast on RNZ which briefly discusses eugenics in NZ in the early 1900s in relation to the case of Alice Parkinson who shot her fiancee in Napier 1915. Well worth a listen.
