  1. To protect hospital staff, all patients scheduled for surgery during this time, other than emergencies, need to be tested for Covid-19 prior to their surgery.

    I would have thought this would be automatic by now, in all hospitals, but apparently it is not. And as a result of that omission large numbers of hospital staff (and other patients) are being put at risk, and are having to go into isolation.

    At this stage of the pandemic, failure to pre-test for Covid-19 is surely negligence, given the disastrous consequences of not doing so. RNZ Surgery Patient Later Tested Positive

  2. We do not seem to hear much from Andrew Little at the moment . Instead of trying to push through his pet project of allowing prisoners to vote he should be making a law that stops someone like this creep getting away with it.
