Russia plans mass vaccination in October.  

Predictably, America express concern – or envy or anxiety of losing the lead?

“The leading infectious disease expert in the US, Dr Anthony Fauci, said he hoped that Russia – and China – were “actually testing the vaccine” before administering them to anyone.”

What else would you expect from the country which claims to be, the World Leader.

• Leading the World in the number of COVID 19 deaths – due to stupidity and arrogance (widely documented so no need for bibliography here).
• Leading the World in the number of contagions.
• Leading the World in pharmaceutical rape and pillage via its avaricious drug companies:
  • Historically:

    • The head of a US pharmaceutical company has defended his company’s decision to raise the price of a 62-year-old medication used by Aids patients by over 5,000%. 2015
  • Contemporaneously:
    • Despite these taxpayer subsidies, prescription drug prices are nonetheless increasing at an alarming rate. In 2019, price increases from drug manufacturers affected more than 3,40026 drugs. For example, Allergan, a major pharmaceutical manufacturer, raised prices on 51 drugs, just more than half its portfolio 

China also has it’s COVID -19 vaccine programme:

• Beijing is offering several vaccine candidates to employees of state-owned companies and the armed forces, while also conducting clinical trials in other countries.
• Companies could struggle to enrol enough trial participants, or gather enough data to convince regulatory agencies that the shots work. 

MEANWHILE back in the Land of the Long White Cloud: NZ Covid-19 vaccine strategy: Government provides $37m for development, distribution. 26 May 2020. 

• Laugh as many will.  However, this is the same country that produced the bloke responsible for the first split of the ATOM: Remember Ernest Rutherford?  
• Richard Pearce flew before the Wright Brothers. 
• And someone invented Number 8 wire!

So, who’s to say some bright or lucky spark will not come up with the magic formula?

THE PROBLEM WILL BE!

Which vaccine will NZ authorities, authorise for use?

• Will it be poodle to America again – however far back they come in the race to provide Salvation from Covid-19?  Will we load ourselves into the vice of American rapaciousness and threats of no dope if we don’t go fight more of their wars such as:
  •  Vietnam which they lost to Russian and China backers; 
  • Iraq where they commenced a crusade for weapons of mass destruction which did not exist and in the process, committed a war crime (UN and Philpott determinations) and unleashed ISIS.
  • China trade wars – which they lose and the collateral for NZ: No Huawei.
  • South China Sea gamble – which they will also lose.
• Will NZ be able to use a China developed vaccine?
• Will NZ be able to use a Russian developed vaccine?

BIGGER PROBLEM.

What happens when we do get vaccinated?

• Are we free to walk without a mask?  
• Do we wear a sign saying: I BIN VAXED?
• Must the sign specify which Vax we’ve had administered?

What about a large percentage of Kiwis who WON’T TAKE ANY Vaccine?

• Must they forever wear a mask and be cast aside deprived of basic rights?

Interesting times ahead – and nothing to do with whether NZ will retain the America’s Cup.
