  1. Northlandlers should just own the fact that they kept returning National to office despite National treating them as doormats and that National will do so again.
Respect to Winston but Northland will return to pattern once he’s gone.
It makes one want to cry.

  2. If one had not been exposed to the degradation of time (as it affects us all) via regular visions of the Rt Hon in various forms of media, over the past 25 years, I’m not sure I would have recognised the dapper fellow in the photo you produce!

Irrespective of this “reality of living”, the Rt Hon has shown himself to be a, survivor. Let’s hope he hangs in there for the probability of Labour making the Treasury without a coalition partner at the next General Elections, is zero (another “reality of living”).

  3. Yep, he has “Dun Well” for Northland, and likely more to come with a $240 mill Dry Dock at North Port according to media.

Went to the Whangarei gathering where Winston announced the rail spend and he was quietly pleased with that little payback for the Nats too, and a reward for locals that keep campaigning away.

If the North is ever going to give National the big finger 2020 has to be it!
