  1. The Police clearly knows what’s coming and is rapidly preparing itself for the years ahead. Crime crime stats have been falling (just rolled my eyes so hard I could see my brains), yet the police appears to be gearing up for Mad Max levels of unrest. Why? Because the thieves at the top know exactly what they have done

  2. If you clash with police you will dominate headlines and turn off middle NZ who we have to win over to stop the tppa. Please just don’t.

  3. Great work Real Choice! Wishing you all the best on the day, you’re there not only for Kiwis but for those other 11 countries concerned citizens who are also strongly opposed to their leaders signing away their sovereignty. Much respect and best wishes.

      1. Insider.. don’t you know the ‘rumour’ of the signing being at the Museum? Hmmm just a rumour at this point… thus why the comment that Kevin made. Kevin is onto it!

  4. As long as the action is non-violent, I don’t see the harm in it. When marching, waving placards, shouting slogans, signing petitions and holding public meetings is sneeringly dismissed by an arrogant government with not a shred of respect for those they’re allegedly paid to serve, then what’s left but some form of direct action? My only concern is that this doesn’t morph into a frenzy of broken windows, torched cars and general mayhem; which would be entirely counter-productive.

  5. When USA tried to overthrow South American countries they used CIA operatives as they are using in NZ but in South American it was a blood bath that hit the headlines and gave USA a very bad rap for years as imperialist’s, so we should use that history for sure as our guide right?

  6. “Dr. King’s policy was that nonviolence would achieve the gains for black people in the United States. His major assumption was that if you are nonviolent, if you suffer, your opponent will see your suffering and will be moved to change his heart. That’s very good. He only made one fallacious assumption: In order for nonviolence to work, your opponent must have a conscience.”

    ― Stokely Carmichael

  7. Keep up the fight – real choice – the TPPA is certainly waking those sleepy hobbits up … About time I say.
NZ media a waste of space – but plenty of discussion on social media, since the protests on the 4th.
