  1. A compelling article, which draws attention to clear problems in this case that cannot be overlooked. It’s so easy to say that a mother would naturally support her son, and that her support is no evidence that he is innocent. Yet that would be unfair and superficial, because any objective look at the irregularities surrounding the trial reveals lots of fishy procedures.

  2. Such corruption in our justice system is hard to comprehend. But yes, it is happening before our very eyes. The mainstream media are equally to blame, pandering in their bias to the woke culture and to those paying their wages. Hang in there Jamie’s family and supporters. You are to be commended for your courage and perseverance. Sometimes, just sometimes as we all know David can beat Goliath. And still in this day and age, sometimes, truth does prevail. Please God let this be one of those times.

  3. I admire people like Jacky who do not get discouraged and keep fighting for the truth to come out.
How can justice pretend everybody deserves a fair trial when withholding evidences?

  4. I’m glad this article has been published. This is a subject that needs to be addressed. Well done Jackie for fighting , not just for your son but all those others wrongly convicted. Stay strong and I sincerely hope yr sons innocence will be proven

  5. With the whole truth finally being exposed, bit by bit people will be forced to examine how their opinions have been manipulated by the media and shaped around the covering up and manipulation of information, and withholding of evidence. Our justice system is required by design to support innocence and prove guilt, and this story is evidence it’s failing on both counts!!

  6. I am so pleased that you are continuing to speak out Jackie. The public put faith in the system to do the right thing yet reading this it tells me that this is not the case. Such a cover up throughout Jamie’s trial, no transparency and clearly not a fair trial which every person going through the system deserves.

  7. Good on you Jacqui for fighting to show the injustices in our legal system. Your stories have been enlightening and have really exposed the corruption within the NZ police – and unfortunately your son is sitting behind bars paying the price. Keep fighting as one day everything will be revealed, we owe it to Jamie. The more people read what really goes o , the better!!!

  8. After following this story from the very start, I’m left feeling very worried, shocked and sad that our justice system including the police can be so wrong and so corrupt? Wheres the justice in any of this? What hope can we have in true justice in our country when miscarriages like this are clear?

It seems to me that no court has seen the full evidence. Withheld and inadmissible in the trial, the Appeal Court agreeing to clear errors but assuming they know what a jury might’ve said….a supreme court that’s arguing why a witness statement couldn’t be used? What happened to presenting all evidence to a jury to decide?
This case deserves at least a retrial with all the evidence AND whatever they’re trying to hide with suppressions should be made public. The public deserve to know what’s happening.

Coz as far as I can see from these articles and comments even on the original mainstream stories which obviously have missed a lot, about people who were at the Appeal and heard everything, and them backing up the errors in this case, this case is all kinds of wrong.
