  1. If people don’t like the declining democracy and authoritarian attitude from Auckland City Council and their COO’s like AT and Ports of Auckland and Watercare, they need to vote for the few councillors who still care… and have alternate visions to the dysfunction that has become Auckland city.

So vote for Mike Lee, who is one of the few who brings light onto what is going on….

Otherwise, even if renting your water rates goes up, rates are rising and averaging at least $50 p/w for many people in an ordinary house (which impacts rents), a non notified building totally outside the planning guide lines can be erected next to you which is ok because all business and McMansion construction is apparently ‘less than minor effect’ in Auckland these days, the roads are congested while the buses still take 4 x longer than a car, and the much touted rail is put back while our ‘petrol taxes’ go towards airport transport upgrades so that it’s more handy for the Phil’s to fly around NZ and the 4 million tourists to come and go… Not even going onto digging up the roads and footpaths every five minutes with safety ‘upgrades’ aka West Lynn comes to mind which now has the water sloping into the retail premises and hazardous parking… while bankrupting and disrupting as many local businesses as possible.

Maybe Mike Lee can suggest a few more councillors who make up the ‘B’ team who still care about the above to also vote for.

  2. Team B current and new:
Grant Gillon and Danielle Grant on the North Shore

Mike Lee – Waitemata and Gulf

Daniel Newman and Angela in Manurewa

    Christine Fletcher and Mark Thomas

Must dump: Richard Hills and Chris Darby on North Shore – lackies of status quo

    1. Go Team B

Jon. No Mike Lee opposed the “give away” of the Civic building and a large amount of prime cbd land.
