  1. Some wise words, however there appears to be no health concerns with a certain Dr. Shane Reti our invisible minister of health. He has given in to the right wing ideology of ACT and NZ first. He is notable by his absence in question time. He is invisible and even looks a shadow of his former self. The inmates have taken over the asylum in the government as far as health is concerned. In the real world Reti would be facing some serious questions about his endorsement/ no comment on the smoking legislation which has been taken over by that well known big tobacco lobbyist Costello. The New Zealand people are being taken for mental mugs on so many levels and no symposium of hope amid struggles will work while this rabid coalition is in charge.

    1. So making something against the law works so well does it. My understanding is smoking cannabis is against the law as is Taking drugs but they continue to grow .
While we have a large percentage of a supermarket filled with crap highly processed food and parents buying it for their children we are doomed to have bad health no matter which government is in charge.

  2. Thank you again, Ian, for your insight. Struggle is hard when so many of those in the new organization are the same, useless suck-ups who were in senior positions in DHB brought onto the national stage and hope is hard when the world revolves around Dorkland, even after we were promised it wouldn’t.

  3. This government putting Bennett in charge of Pharmac, IMO was as duplicitous as having dodgy Bill English chair a symposium on accommodating the homeless, and designed not only to show their contempt for people, but to scare the bejesus out of everybody. Health, done, housing done, next: Education.
