  1. One of my union mentors in the 70s/80s, GH ‘Bill’ Andersen often said that what the NZ ruling class feared most was unity in action between Māori and non Māori, Pākehā in particular. Uniting all who could be united on a class struggle basis would deal with colonial fall out amongst other matters.

    The magnificent Hikoi showed who is leading the way at the moment and it is time for a whole lot more people to join in. In a mere 12 months Act has dragged this country back to the 90s and it requires mass movements and direct action to turn around.
