Postscript to the “Vomit Comment”
Amanda Gillies from the AM show has tweeted that she never made the comment referred to in my blog, its a recorded comment by Judith Collins that they just run sometimes. Apologies to Amanda for assuming that was her voice because she was the only other woman at the table and the comment sounds like someone on the panel speaking.
More interestingly, why does the AM do this? Who decides when to push the “vomit comment “button? How are we who are listening supposed to know who it is? What are the AM show saying about the person who spoke just before the “ vomit comment “?
Many of us do not watch AM every morning so their interesting rituals are unfamiliar, maybe they might like to think about how this can be interpreted?
I stand by my blog content and if I was Amanda I would be a bit worried, how many other people might have thought she was Judith Collins? Does Judith endorse the random use of her comment?
Is media getting even weirder than I thought?

Amanda had a perfect chance to “champion” her home of Gisborne many times over the last years as our rail is broken and the roads are crammed full of trucks and truck gridlock is reaching breaking point now but she is strangely so quiet about the carnage left around her Gisborne now as we wrestle with national still pushing hard for their own “big city roading projects” only policies as the regions elsewhere dies.
