  1. Good idea. Too little transparency in NZ from how big business is able to become monopolies and duopolies by having to much control, including not paying their accounts payable on the due dates.

Small business should not be used as banks by government departments and businesses earning over 30 million who should pay on time! Very late payment has got worse with Covid by using that as an excuse for lack of NZ service and to expand large player profits by using small contractors as their banks.

Other countries/cities like https://www.forbes.com/sites/jenamcgregor/2022/05/24/california-employers-could-soon-have-to-include-salary-ranges-in-job-ads-a-game-changer-for-pay-transparency/?sh=7838997b2463 are also making jobs more transparent by making them show a salary range! This is urgently needed in NZ, as there seems to be a lack of knowledge of market rates for key skills.

Seek who declare themselves a top recruitment website, for example did their website so long ago some of their top pay ranges, is actually now in the middle, making it seem like they are paying top dollar for actually a middle market rate…. nobody in their right mind would want to work in NZ seeing the top ‘roubles’ that NZ pays from these types of website then convert to other currencies and countries also looking for similar staff – especially for remote work.
