Government hides DHB Debt in outrageous move
Our DHBs are drowning in debt because National have underfunded health by $2billion so that they can create a false budget surplus to generate tax cuts.
National have done everything to hide how underfunded our health system has become, and look at this tactic…
DHB deficits to stay under wraps until after election, Health Ministry says
The Ministry of Health has received District Health Board financial results for the last two months but is refusing to release them before the election.The results from July and August were due with the ministry last week, but it will not release them, even in aggregate form, despite Stuff arguing it was in the public interest to know the results before the election.
“The figures are still being collated, they’re then reported to the Minister and then published. Last year the July and August results were published on the Ministry website on 19 October 2016. We expect a similar timeframe this year,” a spokesman said.
…this is purposely deceitful. NZ voters deserve to see how badly underfunded their health system has become, purposely with holding that data is an appalling decision that is undemocratic.
Just another reason why we need to kick this bloody National Party out of power.

The Nacts want to starve public health of funds so they can privatise our health system
( public health will be so dire that everyone who can afford it will be forced to take out private insurance for private health care)
