  1. Labour hopes to win back Auckland.
By the time the Taxpayers Union have finished with the internet they will have every home owning aucklander believing that a Lab/Green/TPM government will mean a 35% CGT on the sale of your family home and an annual 5% wealth tax as well. And what isnt taken by taxes will be given to the maoris.
They will not let the facts get in the way of some good misinformation

    1. All true….However.. people who vote for The Greens are on the whole intelligent and not susceptible to ACT’s gaslighting propaganda rhetoric or Luxon’s childish ‘The Office’ like TikTok videos.

Come election time, as the planet continues to burn, or drown under a swathe of extreme weather events,The Greens will be around the 11 to 12 % mark again.

The big loser here…is ACT…with all the publicity and money they have at their disposal, they are down 20% on their election result.

Mind you ..when you have two 40 year old virgins as their leader and deputy, who are hell bent on killing people with stupid legislation, and who chose a sex abuser, who liked teenage boy’s bottoms, as a manager….then gas lit the complaintant…it will be little wonder if they make 5% come election time.

Only the weirdos, the perverts and the greedy will be left voting for ACT!!…It’s all over for them!

  2. The Greens lost me with their obsession over Gaza. Myself (and I imagine a lot of other voters) want to know how you will deal with economic, social and environmental issues in NZ. Focusing on international issues that you have little control over is not going to win over many voters.

    1. Perhaps it’s because the Greens emphasis is on the word “ALL” rather than the right wings “FEW” Perhaps you may be won back by the Greens if you focus on others rather than yourself.

    2. Don’t know its an obsession or a fad. The environmental and peace movements have long been intertwined. Marama D was part of a flotilla to Palestine about a decade ago as it happens. And warfare is ultimately incompatible with life isn’t it, be it human, be it ecological.

As to the Green’s ideas and strategies, you’re in luck. Their economic, social and environmental policies came out last year. I’d encourage you to check them out because you can’t beat first hand information – get it from the horse’s mouth as they used to say. Same goes for the manifestoes of all parties contesting the election.

    3. Bryn I would suggest you do some serious reading of green party policy.
      It’s not all about Gaza.
In fact as the greens seem to be the only one’s speaking up about Gaza and have progressive policies to the max they will get my two ticks in chch central this election

  3. Best thing about NZF is that their ranks grow bigger every year as more folks retire. And yep, they always vote!

  4. On these numbers, all principled and consistent national party voters will be insisting, as they did in 2017, that NZF must form a coalition with the largest party in Parliament. On these numbers, that’s Labour.

(Yeah, nah. That sacred principle of democratic governance that was so dear to them in 2017 won’t have aged well I imagine.)

  5. ” We on the Left are in deep trouble if Labour doesn’t win over male voters ”

Bomber the imaginary left are dead when you have to try to inspire males to vote for a party that doesn’t want them , support or represent them or there working class families and insults them with GST of their lettuce and tomatoes and cares more about pandering to their business donors than them.

I vote for no confidence in any of the above.

Its time to join with Australia and become a territory of the commonwealth.

  6. All you need is (love) a man’s man tradie – short shorts, beard and free forming, poor people talk most definitely not optional.
Where the bloody hell are ya?

  7. The Greens should be shining, here we have a government veset with economic headwinds, an unpopular PM, laws enacted which fast track projects which override environmental protection – the Greens should be polling well above 10 per cent
