I notice his ACT site bio mentions nothing of Nga Puhi. It does get trotted out for political purposes but I have yet to see Seymour come out with anything in support of gang member rehabilitation other than punative measures. I wonder what his new policies on white collar crime or abusive landlords may be, electronic monitoring?

Right-wing Radio was lauding Richard Prebble’s article in the Herald today, which apparently savaged the Government for trying to help gang members beat meth addiction. I haven’t read the article as I won’t spend money to support that publication.
The Dominionpost also ran an opinion article on the same subject this morning by from Ian Hutson who, from his work, obviously knows a lot more about working with drug addicts than Prebble ever will.

Prebble was never really good at anything. Married 3 times and
his colleagues of his time in the Labour party described him as petulant.
He was responsible for the starting of the sell off of state owned enterprises, much to the chagrin of the public of the time.
When in Government Muldoon famously said “we never knew what he was going to come up with next.”
So nothing has changed with Prebble. He is a petulant bitter man who I have no idea why is still on the gray train. His ideas are outdated and he is simply wrong.
Prebble was a wombat in his previous life, doesn’t have a nice thing to say about anyone, way out of his depth on most issues.
