The CoC government calls for a bipartisan approach when it suits them when in areas like health and education they should try to work with the opposition for a long-term solution and therefore a better outcome. The problem was a few Polytech’s were doing well and some not so well and so the few doing well complained about being centralised. This will always be the case and it’s a sad reality. It would have been a better approach if the newly elected government didn’t rush into changes, instead see what is working and fix what isn’t as wholesale changes can be detrimental and we are seeing this in the ferry debacle, education curriculum and social housing.
