  1. Another rally cry of love, tolerance and unity – nothing makes modern day government happier than this type of uplifting messaging.

  2. I know, and you sense their discomfort at the contortions and ideological manoeuvering as they try to find a position where they can maintain their delusions but somehow stay above the fragmentation. There are now ex “freedom fighters” who instead call themselves “troof seekers”. As long as it isn’t the actual troof, because they don’t believe that.

    1. Took me a few shakes of the stick to realize what a troof seeker was. Nonetheless, as we all clearly know now, we can only truly trust in troofulness when it comes via government or government approved sources and freedom, freedom is best kept/allocated in the safe hands of government also. We, the people, cannot be trusted for, well, pretty much anything, anymore, because we have grown a terrible tendency of sprouting such splinter groups like freedumb fighters, troof sekers and the like. Clearly, we need to be protected from ourselves! Thank goodness for modern day government…

  3. They DNZ votes will and are moving to NZF. Winston Peters says “thanhk yah verrry much”

  4. It is no surprise that antivaxers (such as myself) have a wide divergence of opinions and interests . The “antivax” position comes from an independence of thought and an enquiring mind; open to the persuasion of intelligent independent expert opinion. Especially when that expert opinion goes to great trouble to explain exactly the dangers they see ahead that are now being demonstrated to have been well founded if one keeps ones’ eyes and ears and mind open. Those folk who have the self confidence to stay aloof from the herd instinct in te face of open hostility from many they believed were their friends and allies and follow their own reasoning and judgement are not an identifiable grouping in any other respect. They pop up in all walks of life tending to be slightly more numerous in less academically programmed people.
There is more to learn about the story of Covid. It is far from over yet and society will not look quite the same when it is over.
Our society is extremely complex. Faith in the structures of this society is essential for it to work properly or at all. We are all inicredibly dependent on each other and on those we chose to assess issues tat our health and safety depend apon. That fait has taken enormous damage from this episode which will take years to recover .

    1. Thanks David, I know lots of anti vaxes – who I have real respect for – who are not part of the nut bars that are in this weird party.

    2. All of the anti vaxxers I know spend waaaaay tooooo much time on dubious websites looking for “facts” to support their wacky theories.
They also turn off all their friends, ruin dinner parties and become isolated, alone and bitter.
      Just sayin.

    3. Thank you for addressing so clearly and personally a choice that is often unfairly criticised, sometimes condemned by others. I’ve always cringed at the label of anti-vaxers, especially when applied by someone without any interest in understanding or considering why one might choose not to be vaccinated. As you say, our society is very complex, and to inhibit the strength of its diversity is contrary to its wellbeing.

  5. Another reason to keep the 5 percent rule at election. We do not need these types in power. Tamaki,Grey,King and other anti groups need to be watched

    1. Why don’t you write some sensible comment instead of this sort of garbage.

    2. Neither the Left or Right believes in body autonomy or human rights, as proved by the response to the Pandemic from the world’s various governments. Indeed, both National and Labour were all for the lockdowns and vax mandates in this country. Neither listened to the actual science, but rather listened to Govt controlled organisations like the CDC and WHO, and obviously Big Pharma.

      1. Pretty sure there were a few scientists involved in decision making rather than under government control. Maybe just scientists messages you didn’t like.

  6. HaHa What booster are we at five, six? There is another vaccine for you I promise. You won’t get sick and you won’t spread dis-ease. And put these glasses on to penetrate the trash and see only trans joy okay.

    1. Hopefully most voters will have seen through the antimandate parties and they will vanish in the dust . Sue Grey ,Matt King ,Brian Tamaki, Leighton all waving their hands saying look at me I am a bigger idiot than the others

  7. And this leader, positive progressive, saying among their once party positive support, bleeting outside and inside parliament, prompting positiviasm as his leader in side and outside they are negative towards our economy, as i bleet negative farm and corporate thought.

  8. While I will not lose any sleep seeing these political parties divide I just read a NZH article where a teacher had their teaching registration canceled over his refusal to call a transgender student by their preferred name. If the teacher was useless at teaching then that would be a fair call but from what the article says the punishment appears too extreme & will only create further division.

  9. Hmm… As funny as this is I kinda want Matt King to do well enough that he can split the right vote in Northland enough to keep Shane Jones from winning, maybe even if the National candidate too if we’re lucky
