Yo – we haven’t pushed for a contributions drive as we march through to the election for sometime because everyone from Newsroom to Scoop to The Spinoff to Stuff keeps begging for donations and contributions but as we enter the final month of the election, if you have any money down the back of the couch, we’d love for you to flick some our way!

Yes, it has. In terms of the future direction of Aotearoa NZ, the role of an independent voice is at least as significant now as it has been at any earlier time, imo. We have had other times when critical decisions of conscience had to be made, including ending our role in the Vietnam war, our ‘Nuclear Free moment’, the Rainbow Warrior follow up, our stance against apartheid, etc. Times when we as a nation were at a crossroads, and would go down one of two distinct paths.
We are at such a time once again. The difference is that this time, the crisis we are facing is NOT generally being covered by mainstream media, and is even being submerged into invisibility. Yet it is here and it is deadly. So, please, help keep TDB alive …
