  1. Well the Chinese have to get something from the Nats for their money.
Labours own Raymond Huo of course set the justice select committee
up to fail in its attempt to tackle foreign electoral interference.
There will be no real change in law possible before the election so when the Nats likely get back in we can watch sovereignty continue to slide.
Labour could and should have tightened laws and has not.

  2. The determining factor in deciding when to protect Kiwis by closing our borders was the moment Cindy realised she wasn’t going to be able to hug anyone in front of the cameras.

      1. … or the Nazi-sympathising Filipino minister, as did SiBri.
He’s a bit all over the place at the moment, is our SiBri.

    1. I think your confused, you were thinking of that ponytail fondling P.M. walking that young Maori girl out of McGehan Close in front of the cameras and the time he was all over the camera through the ChCh earthquakes.
      What a muppet Boris.

      1. Ew,…. pony tail fondling P.M ….

        Makes one shudder…

Still,… it seems the right wing has always had more than its fair share of ‘ kinky types ‘ in their number…and the further right they go, – the more kinkier it seems to get…

      1. Thanks Bert, for that youtube. A very timely warning and reminder. Even as LotO the Nats have taken a big gamble on him; he is not nor ever has been a PM-in-the-making.

      2. Yes,… I posted that one on The Standard a few times where I called him ‘Screechy Simon’. I couldn’t believe the obnoxious arrogance , speaking over the interviewer, attacking the interviewer and general self righteous belligerence.

I thought ‘if this is the sort of caliber of the National party ,… it just demonstrates the sheer bullheaded arrogance of them ‘ . And those who display those qualities are not fit for leadership , as a leader must FIRST be a servant. A servant to other people. A facilitator, – not a dictator.

The worlds full of dictators but scarce on the ground of facilitators.

My goodness I’m glad National is out of power.

It was imperative that they were removed,.. and stay out of power until they learn the most basic of qualities,… humility.

  3. Winston Peters is right about Simon Bridges i.e he(Bridges)is like a dog that barks at anything and everything.

The NZ National Party courtship of China and its multi-millionaires has been going on for many years. They(National)want to maintain that working relationship because they(National)obviously do depend upon the donations from wealthy Chinese.

Which could well confirm the so-called charges by the SFO that were recently made public obviously do not apply to Simon Bridges, The NZ National Party and of course the Chinese multi-millionaires who have donated heavily in the past to National.

Either that or in some unethical way National are depending upon a massive virus outbreak here in NZ in attempt to rid NZ of a population they(National)deem lowly citizens. In other words National may well behave like the NAZI Party in eliminating those they deem ‘below acceptable intelligence or merit the need for existence…”.

Simon Bridges so often comes across as the Village Idiot who just cannot take or accept the fact that every time he barks he sounds like an idiot or rather a mad dog. Maybe he has been in the sun too long and it has coddled his intellect.

  4. China is only hash on us. Toady, China’s consul general in Jeju, South Korea said Jeju authority’s decision is understandable, after the island banned free-visa policy for Chinese nationals, which effectively banned all Chinese nationals.
Kowtowing to China won’t give us a good relationship. Look the evacuation timeline, NZ is still at the bottom of the list, even after Jordan, Turkey and Taiwan.
