  1. Thank you Dave for your continued commitment to make a positive difference to our country despite the pain it must involve.

I agree with what you have said about priorities and $100m is just welfare for the civil engineering industry. It would have been better to spend the $100m on training mental health workers and increasing (I assume) their appalling wages.

    What a lost opportunity.

  2. Well, that’s Labour for you. At best all talk and no trousers. At worst a complete and utter disaster.

    1. Compared to say National who save money not lives. Incompetent at best, destructive and catastrophic at worst. Under-funding has always been Nationals greatest strength. Whilst their voter base gets wealthier others die.

        1. Which bit was the apology for Labour?

And – was this a trial run for next year’s somnolent repartee, flamed-out insults and other twaddle by National trolls?

If so – even Labour has nothing to fear from such generalised and unfocused fertiliser at the fan comments.

  3. My heart sank when I read about Nicky being put on psychiatric drugs (as well as the rest of his treatment there). I know there are people who genuinely benefit from them but research has shown they do more harm than good. Psychiatry is little more than quackery in my view.
