The trade union-funded Daily Blog, the most significant publication of New Zealand’s liberal and pseudo-left commentators, last month posted the latest in a long-running series of blogs promoting the lie that the deadly COVID-19 virus originally escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in China.
The August 29 post, by editor Martyn Bradbury, contains a breathtaking litany of falsehoods sourced from the US intelligence apparatus and right-wing media. It concludes that former President Donald Trump “might have been right all along” about the Chinese lab leaking the virus.
Bradbury, the blog’s founder, has for years acted as a craven mouthpiece for Washington’s escalating propaganda campaign against China and its preparations for war. That he has done so without any criticism from the Daily Blog’s self-described stable of “leading left/centre-left commentators and progressive opinion shapers,” reflects what is in reality the right-wing and pro-imperialist politics of this entire milieu.

CIA now says Covid-19 ‘more likely’ to have come from lab
The Central Intelligence Agency has assessed that the Covid-19 pandemic is “more likely” to have emerged from a lab rather than from nature, an agency spokesperson said on Saturday.
The agency had for years said it could not conclude whether Covid-19 was the result of a lab incident or it originated in nature. But in the final weeks of the Biden administration, former CIA director William Burns asked CIA analysts and scientists to make a clear determination, stressing the pandemic’s historical significance, according to a senior US official.
The CIA says it has “low confidence” in its assessment that a “research-related origin of the Covid-19 pandemic is more likely” and notes in its statement that both scenarios – lab origin and natural origin – remain plausible.
The Chinese embassy in Washington did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
It was unclear the extent to which the agency has collected new intelligence on Covid-19’s origins and whether that new evidence was used to formulate the latest assessment.
China’s government says it supports and has taken part in research to determine Covid-19’s origin, and has accused Washington of politicising the matter, especially because of efforts by US intelligence agencies to investigate.
…here’s the truth.
When Covid first erupted, I argued mathematically chances of a lab leak were a real possibility we needed to look at because the history of lab leaks was actually far greater and larger than many knew.
Because of the prevalence of these types of labs and with human error factored in, there is an 80 percent chance of a a dangerous pathogen escape every 12.8 years.
I was cancelled 3 or 4 times for making this claim by Woke Twitter because anyone asking deeper questions at a time of panic and fear tend to get knifed first and the latest report only highlights that neither America or China want to get to the bottom of the origins of Covid.
The deep suspicion of a lab leak is legitimate.
We know there were embassy cables warning Trump that the Wuhan Lab was a safety risk.
We know the lab was experimenting on the virus and that scientists have now cast suspicion on the virus having been tampered with.
We know US Intelligence picks up a pandemic in November.
We know lab staff suffered symptoms exactly like Covid a month before the first case in December.
We know that via a bizarre set of circumstances relating to the unique private military research budgets created by the Pentagon that America funded a Circus Freak Show of an organisation called EcoHealth Alliance.
If you don’t know who EcoHealth Alliance is, you best read this damning article in Vanity Fair that exposes how the American Military Industrial Complex accidentally funded the very type of dangerous experiments on the very exact virus that was released in the very exact lab where the breakout was next to…

…that article is so damning and so dangerously close to what may have actually happened it demands investigation.
Vanity Fair is not some fringe conspiracy theory rag, it has enormous credibility and reach.
The Vanity Fair expose clearly points to funding Fauci green lighted For EcoHealth Alliance to research the very Covid virus that is then leaked near a lab at the centre of the outbreak.
That at the very least demands some examination and not the usual screams of xenophobia from the usual and predictable defenders of China because this isn’t about China maliciously creating a bioweapon and attacking the West, it’s far more banal than that – underfunded Chinese labs with poor security and American Military Industrial Grifters who played with fire and unleashed Pandoras Box on the world!
No wonder no one wants to examine any of this.
21million people died globally from Covid, economies were ruined and a wave of deep bitterness was unleashed in all Democracies.
The reality is that America AND China could have accidentally created and released Covid meaning that neither of them will want the truth to ever escape.

The WHO, UNO, and the self-pointed banksters and rich elitists who constitute the WEF, may be shown to be pretty closely intertwined if the truth emerges.
Interesting stuff. Much murky paranoia. The real truth may never be known, unless a whislteblower turns up, decades down the line. If the W.H.O favoured the lab leak theory, that should definitely be taken note of. But an intelligence agency are hardly biotech epidemiological immunology experts by any stretch.
Everyone knows that States will always cover up their own mistakes, and go to great lengths to do so, as per Assange, and NZs own abuse in state care, revelations.
One mitigation against future pandemics could be to fast track a local rna vaccine production facility. So during a pandemic situation, when international travel gets curtailed and supply lines are unreliable, rna vaccine could be quickly made locally. The vaccine would not need to be imported from an overseas supplier, just the rna code.
