Election 2023: Labour Party campaign launch hijacked by Freedoms NZ supporters

Multiple protesters disrupted the Labour Party campaign launch inside Aotea Centre this afteroon, after dozens of protesters from fringe political party Freedoms NZ earlier attempted to block people from entering the Auckland venue.

Four people separately interrupted speeches during the launch – three as Prime Minister and Labour Party leader Chris Hipkins spoke and one as former Prime Minister Helen Clark spoke.

Clark was first to be interrupted, when a man began shouting from the audience. The audience applauded and clapped to drown his voice out, and he was removed by security.

After Hipkins began his speech a woman stood and began to shout.

This is 2023 and religious fanatics are disrupting political events!

Those who believe in Brian Tamaki’s Religious grift and his Leather Daddy routine are swarming Political Events in order to ‘disrupt’ them because God, yes, GOD, spoke directly to Brian and told him to do it.

Election 2023: Brian Tamaki ‘disruption’ campaign: Church and political leader wants to break Parliament apart

Brian Tamaki says God has given him a vision of how he should run a “disrupt” campaign that aims to “break apart” Parliament and its “lying politicians”.

Tamaki – a church leader turned co-founder of the new Freedoms New Zealand political party – also told followers Act Party leader David Seymour will be the campaign’s next target, raising fears among some that the new party plans to subvert democratic norms in the run up to October’s election.

Why, I say, why, would God almighty, the Alpha and the Omega, the Great Father and Creator, the magical invisible flying wizard in the Sky, why, now W-H-Y would Jehovah talk to Brian Tamaki?

Like, of all the people on the planet that the God almighty, the Alpha and the Omega, the Great Father and Creator, the magical invisible flying wizard in the Sky could talk to, why, I say W-H-Y, would that be Bishop Brian Tamaki?

Why would God almighty, the Alpha and the Omega, the Great Father and Creator, the magical invisible flying wizard in the Sky tell Brian to disrupt the democratic process of New Zealand of all places?

I mean, God certainly moves in mysterious ways, but he’s not a fucking moron right?

Why talk to Brian and tell Brian to disrupt the election?

Why, I say why would God almighty, the Alpha and the Omega, the Great Father and Creator, the magical invisible flying wizard in the Sky want Brian fucking Tamaki of all people to ‘break apart’ Parliament?

If the media were doing their job properly, they would approach God for comment and ask him if he did actually tell Brian this and what on earth does God think she’s doing empowering an ignorance grifter like Brian Tamaiki who emotionally manipulates desperate people for tithes.

Like, what the fuck God, why help a chump like Brian Tamaki when kids have leukaemia, puppies get hit by cars and National manages to slip a tax policy through that rewards Landlords at the expense of 2 year olds, public transport mutilation and stealing from climate change fighting funds?

I love God, I just can’t stand his fucking followers!

  1. That fact that this con artist has followers just shows how stupid some people are. Hipkins should counter by saying the Tooth Fairy told him to provide free dental for under 30’s.

I’ll ask him publicly, down the mall. It’s been a while since the Holy Ghost bestowed the gift of tongues, and with Labour hades-bent on silencing people and women getting bullied trying to talk in parks, freedom of speech is a biggie.

  10. Maybe it would be a legitimate protest if they’d glued themselves to the road into the venue and said it was all for the good of the environment.

    1. They won’t do that because it requires commitment to the cause.
      Labours mistake was holding it on a Saturday, if they did it on a Sunday there would be no protest because Tamiki would want his tithe.

  11. Tell me this acting out isn’t just sour grapes generated by the realisation that his “political party” was going nowhere, and he was becoming more irrelevant by the day…. Please..
    I’ve been regularly appalled at how juvenile and self centered level political debate here has become, but this is just taking the piss…
    Putting party politics aside, it has been frightening listening to “trumpists” opining as to what they consider reality…. But while it’s seriously worrying to hear, I have to stay quiet, because there are many, many people in NZ that are easily as deluded.. Possibly a higher percentage of the population than the USA even… Have neurology researchers in NZ started using dog testicles when performing brain transplant experiments again? Or is it just that the “best and brightest” really did fly away when I did… During yet another period of disloyalty, and greed by NZs traditional ruling class?
    Not surprising that the “news media” ignored the official handover ceremony when NZ officially took Irelands place in the “IQ stakes”, as in having the lowest national average in the world.. The Irish wish us a long reign, and even though they knew kiwis wouldn’t know the difference, a smooth path into utter servitude..

  14. I seem to remember some quote along the lines of “Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s and unto God, that which is God’s”.

    Not the greatest bible scholar me, but Bishop Bryan maybe you should read that bit? I think God is saying get your nose out of politics and get on with serving the poor and the downtrodden. If my money was on the Big Guy, I think that is what he would be saying.
