What’s important in NZ vs what’s important to the rest of the World right now
We are a tiny people.
Let me be clear.
I am not criticising the Police response to the tasering of Alo Ngata in Beresford street.
There are enough independent witnesses from neighbours who all universally agree Police used the required force to stop him.
We have two enormous powers hurtling towards each other at great speed now at the Supreme Court. On one side, Dotcom’s fierce will, tenacity and wealth up against the mass surveillance state and American corporate geopolitical interests.
If this goes all the way, it will impact everyone and everything.
A death in custody, a place and environment where the Police have total dominance should send a shudder down the spine of anyone, we are being misled into a debate about tasers – without any clear explanation of where the injury that killed this man, that debate is a purposeful misdirection.
I shake my head so many times these days over what passes as informed political debate.
Air NZ should be forced to make the entire plane out of meat! Anything less than that is treachery!
This was a moment when the true nature of the mass surveillance state was shown and proven to us, that Kiwi’s refused to believe is a legacy you collectively will need to explain to your children in the big brother future.
Who knew our mighty Titans of Commerce were the real snowflakes and all it took was fair wages, decent working conditions and a woman in charge to destroy their fortitude!
Because of the speed of climate change, huge ideas with radical vision are required. That a NZ First and National MP can’t see the need should surprise no one because they themselves are like the Dairy and Meat Industries – dinosaurs that don’t know they are extinct yet.
The Left look at the State as the great leveller of unregulated Capitalism, but what if the State is part the bloody problem in crucifying the poorest and weakest amongst us?
