  1. I’m in Hawkes Bay and would also like to pay my respects to this incredible woman. A national day of mourning seems appropriate to me.

  2. When Peter Conway (NZCTU) died a memorial service was held in Auckland a while after the main service in Wellington, which was well appreciated

    A service and possibly some sort of permanent memorial dedicated to Helen Kelly in a public place. We owe her that much as she was an exceptional New Zealander. Others get far more honours for doing far less than what she did for people.

  4. loved Rod Donald died, there was a service in Wellington and there was one in Auckland. It would be a great shame if we could not do the same for Helen Kelly.
