  1. Another hard right wing group with a ‘wolf in sheeps clothing’ name- like the taxpayers union. The informed know this, so the Labour party and all opposition parties need to inform the uninformed about these organisations (including the Atlas Network), who funds them, and their real purpose.

  2. The same reasoning which was behind the ACLU’s Skokie Case. You don’t have to like it, you just have to eat it.

    1. FSU seem to be about giving a metaphorical megaphone to primarily hard right and far right activists. So they’re really about promulgating right wing and hard right talking points under the veneer of “free speech”. FSU’s claim that they (FSU) are motivated by the value of “free speech” is disingenuous when it’s really about injecting RW/hard right ideas into the mainstream.

  3. ‘They support the free speech of communists as well, even though they’ve killed 100 million people.’
What? Here in Aotearoa? How did I miss that?
The only communists I know pass out pamphlets and help low paid workers negotiate better pay and conditions.

  4. Free speech for me, but not for thee. Unless you have the same righteous moral values of the “right type of person”. That’s my idea of free speech..,

  5. The Free Speech Union’s mantra is Free Speech = Free Violence against those who exercise their free speech, freedom of association, freedom of action, all within the law of course. Why? Well, because they demand the right to free speech as long as people agree with them. If people don’t agree with them, violence, aggression, and anger follows.
