Biden should pardon the Insurrectionists
Let’s be clear, while there certainly was some serious and unacceptable violence meted out by a tiny proportion of BLM & Antifa activists, you could understand the provocation and righteous grievance they had when that violence erupted. That’s not justifying the violence, but there are reasons it happened which are legitimate to take on board when passing judgment.
HOWEVER those fucking Qanon lunatics who believe a freak show-of nonsense – to even attempt to conflate BLM and Antifa violence to their Orange Lives Matter Insurrection is fucking sophistry of the highest order. You are at best being disingenuous in your comparison.
Pity is what I feel towards these Qanaon lunatics.
Watching their fearful faces scrunched in rage as they screamed their alternate reality ‘truth’ at journalists who asked why they were storming the Capital Building was as insightful as it was saddening.
These cultists believe a Satanic child sex murder cabal stole the election from Trump and released a bioengineered virus spread by 5G to bring about a shadowy one world government inside the UN.
The craziest thing about the Qanon belief structure is any idea that the UN could organise anything as comprehensive as a global takeover of anything! ISIS has more of a credible philosophical platform than your average Qanon Trump supporter.
These people have had their fear and ignorance manipulated by Trump, by gutless Republicans and by Facebook algorithms.
Biden’s first act should be kindness and forgiveness to these lunatics in an act of unity. Now that’s a bitter pill for anyone on the left to have to swallow because we would never ne granted such leniency when we protest righteously for genuine grievances and not alt-right fantasies.
But that truly is the only way I think to de-escalate.
Biden should pardon the rioters who were manipulated in a mass action of magnanimous forgiveness but he should be heavy handed on those who did the manipulations.
The 140 Republicans who still empowered Trump’s lie of mass fraud in the election should all be censured and never have the stain removed from their reputations
Facebook as a network must receive enormous regulation and global taxes to pay for the journalism that must be the antidote to this Qanon madness.
Fox News must be shunned and forever damned for empowering Trump.
And Trump himself must be impeached and banned from ever running again to ensure his malevolence can’t return ever again.
Those sad white angry confused and frightened Orange Lives Matter Insurrectionists should be pitied and forgiven so that there can be some healing, but those who led it, incited it and empowered it – oh they all need to go down.

Any government should have a strategy: presumably to survive by bringing prosperity to the populace.
Only a fool in the planning section would seek to impeach a President who is gone in a week. Such a strategy exacerbates the deep divisions which manifest at this time of Colour Revolution Kama and which expose Nancy as a liability.

Don’t pardon the traitors. Those who didn’t enter the Capitol itself might perhaps be given parole once sentenced, but should be liable to serve their full term in prison if they so much as jaywalk near a federal building.
..and the impeachment that will do nothing to ‘Heal’ America, rather the opposite ..and which, by implication, suggests that Trump could not only run for President…but could actually win. American fascism is a particular brand of white supremacy that is rooted in the history of the country – its genocidal domination and enslavement of populations of colour (as well as its continued and ongoing decimation of non-human species. We see variations of them in Aotearoa NZ – they are called duck-shooters). These morons in the U.S. are an insult to the thousands of young Americans who died fighting the German and Japanese versions of fascism. Thus they illustrate a lack of even basic education and certainly don’t have the wherewithal for self-examination that makes them responsible citizens of the modern world. They are pre-modern deluded delinquents who deserve the full force of the law (preferably treated as test-monkeys and fired off into space).
Last I recall, a police officer was murdered by these people by being bludgeoned to death. There was also an attempt to kidnap and possibly murder many members of Congress. Not the sort of thing one lets off.
