  1. Bugger the rednecks the rest of us are feeling red in-between the other cheeks

  2. 3 waters feels better than iwi 10waters .. that would have been a nightmare

  3. there’s no such thing as a free lunch. Those crowing about how 3 waters magically costs less than local water done well are deluded. The real issue is that councils haven’t done there job of maintaining infrastructure and well we are where we are. In this sense stripping infrastructure off the councils is probably the right call in the long run.

  4. I keep laughing at our local mayor here in Waitomo and his red neck mates .They went hard out on the Maoris would take the water from us white folk .Now he is rushing head long into the Waikato water limited entity .The fact that it is now a company means the white folk have now stolen the water .In a few years time Waikato water limited will be sold off to the over seas corporations .Then what will the Pakeha be saying then .If the Maori had a vested interest it would not be sold because they dont sell stuff just for the sake of a quick buck .You only have to look at what they have and are doing with the little compensation they have received for their stolen land .Local Iwi here are about to embark on building 40 new rental properties for whanau on their own land using money from a recent treaty setlement .Recent national governments sold rental houses in the area and built no replacements .

  5. The current “Local Water Done Well” is a joke. But the fact that it’s cr*p doesn’t mean that 3 Waters was any good.

  6. Well people get what they deserve the problem is we all have to suffer, Henry you don’t know if three waters would have worked it was not given a chance, but Nanaia Mahuta warned people us rate payers would eventually be lumped with thousands of dollars a year to pay for our water, and now councils are saying the same thing. Dumb idiots too much Maori bashing who’s a dumb hua now aue!
