  1. The drums of war beat louder.

“What they have not accounted for is our ability to provide access through multidomain operations from the land.” A statement reinforcing how important US land bases are in a future conflict. (Ben Morgan)

Q: What is airstrip one? Google search

A: In George Orwell’s novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, Airstrip One is the name given to the former nation of Great Britain after it becomes a province of the superstate Oceania. It is portrayed as a dreary and impoverished place, with London as its main city, though it’s not the capital of Oceania. The name “Airstrip One” is a reference to how American soldiers referred to Britain during World War II, using the island as a strategic airbase.

In WWIII Australia will be the new American ‘Airstrip One’

    To paraphrase George Orwell:

Australia is a dreary and impoverished place, with Melbourn n as its main city, though it’s not the capital of Oceania. The name “Submarine Base One” is a reference to how American soldiers will refer to Australia during World War III, using the island as a strategic military base.

  2. Great news. I look forward to the Chinese running the American filth out of the Pacific.

  3. While I respect your knowledge, all the evidence I have seen in my lifetime is that the USA, along with other Western governments has caused almost all the problems in the world so your desperation to paint China as a problem is wearing thin. The Chinese government is not stupid and will have observed the same examples, so why wouldn’t they seek to have an effective defense force?
