Why is the Auckland City Council trying to quietly sell this building for such a cheap price? 

Every single time Bridges is under the high ball, he screws it up. He over compensates for his weakness by being pig headed and doesn’t see the consequences of his rashness. The Government now faces a hacked and leaked budget which will over shadow the well being element of their political framing.

In this case we see Customs bullying and intimidating someone carrying a copy of the book so that they could warn and tip off Police before the book came out.

Why it has taken this amount of time to recognise the role the state has in these young lives is the real question here.

The Republic of Waiheke is split between hippie artist types who are clinging to the commune vision of the Island and the Auckland uber rich who have priced locals out of the housing market, it is this latter group who are furious that the crap ferry service is barely able to cope with the Gold Card scam and over tourism that makes it almost impossible to move in peak hour traffic.

If Simon isn’t lying then he has caused a coup upset and reframed the welfare budget in a devious and malicious way. It would also be a serious blow to the credibility of Winston.

If Winston isn’t lying Simon Bridges will be the hapless fop who has once again over egged and zigged when he should have zagged. If the Euthanasia legislation passes before the 2020 election, Bridges leadership would surely be the first candidate.  

Allowing staff to anonymously complain without any need to prove anything said and extrapolating rape from that is one thing. Attacking the resulting trial by media for being a trial by media however is a conversation Jacinda should perhaps be having with the Speaker. 

Almost $5million to investigate a solution suggests we aren’t asking the right questions.
