In an attempt to calm the Nation, Jacinda has announced a new virus alert system so that everyone knows what is happening.

In the frightening weeks and months to come, when Government has to make very hard calls, I am deeply grateful that she is the one sitting at the top of the table making the final call.

In the shadow of the pandemic, Abortion was finally made legal in NZ.

We should applaud her courage, this is an extraordinary decision made at a time of immense danger to the country.  

I appreciate I’ve been a bit of an outlier on this pandemic and from the beginning was warning this had all the ingredients of a public health crisis and economic meltdown.

Bridges only hope is that the virus leaks into NZ and he can trace it back to a perceived incompetence that he can claim was a lack of leadership.

Someone needs to sit Simon down, pour him a really strong whiskey, let him have a couple of slugs, bitch slap him with your ring finger, and state in a very clear calm manner…
