It’s interesting to see the muted reaction to the terrible killing of British Labour MP Jo Cox. The killer has been connected to a far right Christian pro-apartheid group yet the right aren’t calling it terrorism by Christianity.
The problem is that the average National voter doesn’t care if policy actually stands up to scrutiny, they hate left wing people and values and the perception that it somehow damages them is all a National voter cares about. That the policy works is secondary to the spite it might cause.
Enabling parents to be able to spend those precious first weeks with their newborn is the best start to life, that this Government can’t see that speaks volumes of what their values really are.
We have so many bloody pressing issues on this planet, preventing people from using the bathroom they feel comfortable in is such a mean spirited petty bigotry.
Winston’s handling of this is to the right of the Labour Party so it’s an issue he has all to himself, but the simplicity of his solutions are just pantomime and make him look a bit daft rather than critical and stance taking.

The issue the mainstream media are refusing to focus upon is the simple bare faced truth that this wasn’t all some giant mistake and misunderstanding, this was the framing of an innocent man by the Police who knew he was innocent.
Bennett lies about the Salvation Army and now spreads vicious gossip about the Marae staff who are showing up her broken policies. National isnt fighting homelessness they’re fighting media attention of their inaction!
The compensation offered to Pora for locking him up for a crime he did not commit is pathetic because it doesn’t focus on the salient point which has been ignored throughout most of his case – the cops framed him!
